Sure - I saw the wood from the trees too, albeit later than I should have (and serves me right for thinking that the geopolitics would offset the many negatives, which I was broadly aware of from the get-go - hence serving me right).
Like I also said: typical AIM. And no doubt, no consequences for those responsible for this disaster either.
I once said on one of these chat boards something along the lines of politicians and AIM directors being natural bed fellows, or as trustworthy as one another. There being the very odd exception no doubt.
Anyway, the point I was making was that the previous lot could have signed this off, if they were ever going to.
You might never find a positive comment from me about the red mob, but the blame for this cannot reasonably be laid at their door. Saving shareholders in this situation would have been peak moral hazard, among many other things.
There will be plenty that can/will be in the years ahead (and IMO even already is, in this very short time), but I am not letting the blue blob off the hook!
Anyway, GLA and hope we all make good our losses here. About the best that can probably be hoped for, although good luck to anyone who might try and explore restitution options here.
