I suspect you have a lot of holders that are keeping some chips on the table, but are not adding, because there are better short term opportunities to make money in than this one. I am one of them, to be honest.

This is not one of the AIM jokes, certainly at the time of print, but the market wants to see evidence that they are not going to need many more fund raises IMO.

If/when that time comes, then we should hopefully be well rewarded for our patience these past few (barren) years. GLA.

Well, from a technical perspective, it is too early to say IMO.

We need to get back above the 50 DMA (which is virtually the same as the 200 now) and stay above that for at least a few days for confirmation. Basically 99p, for those who may not know the current price for said moving averages.

None of which matters for the longer term minded investor, but if/when we get back above the 200, we might get some new traders going long here, and that could drive us back to the 105p ish range IMO. GLA.

My stop loss was not needed. It was in place in case the SP dropped below 440p. Which it did not. So I was able to sell for a bit more than the price I bought in.

For someone who wastes so much time scanning through the posting history of people who you take against, and on the basis you no doubt went over every post I made from my first to my last HARL post, let us settle for you being mistaken on that claim, because my bullish posts comfortably outweigh my bearish posts in that name.

Not that it matters, because, as you seem to struggle to grasp, these chat boards are for sharing ideas and opinions, be they positive or negative. And only fools remain bullish, or bearish, on any equity, irrespective of events or circumstances.

And I bought a few hundred shares here (first time holder, in answer to your question), just to keep my word about not posting here otherwise.

Already sold (and had a stop loss in place in case it bit me), but it was worth it for the principle of the matter. So, a 1.2% profit, (buttons) but the real reward is in being able to reply to your nonsense.

I think it also has something to do with avoiding the risk of market manipulation. If a company was able to buy back the whole allocation in one day for example, at a date of their choosing, imagine the scope for running a long SB on that scenario and knowledge of date execution!

Am pretty sure (from other ones I hold/have held previously, like IG, ITV and BATS) that they need to issue precise terms of a buy back scheme.

So, X amount of cash allocated to said scheme, in one or more tranches, to be conducted by an outfit like Morgan Stanley from X date to Y date etc on their behalf.

Happy to be corrected if I am wrong though, but that is my experience to date on this matter.

This one caught my attention after the drop yesterday.

As others have suggested, and IMO too, the problem here now is not just one trading update miss.

The balance sheet appears somewhat vulnerable, question marks over the management itself and even after the drop, still on a fairly high P.E, especially so if the next update is not strong.

Which would then underpin the current fear that this is no longer a high growth stock IMO.

Lots still to like here though to my mind, but I would also want to see some significant inside buying before I potentially took the plunge myself.

Without that, still feels like a trade to be had here, but I might not get the chance of course (420's might prove too tempting, if it comes to pass). GLA.

And they would register as buys, not sells, when said exercise commenced. I think I am right in saying.

If it goes ahead, then all the comments and material information that has been posted here over the years, will not be transferred to the new chat board (on the likely assumption that someone will set one up).

Obviously key regulatory information will still be available in the public domain for people to research as they see fit, but it is something to bear in mind.

As I said on another chat board, shareholders tend to be quite generous and tolerant of high C-Suite packages, but in circumstances where a BOD have clearly not performed to a high standard (such as here), with a number of missteps (already outlined repeatedly here over the past year or so, which I will therefore not regurgitate), then it does ruffle feathers. Quite frankly, it acts as a weapon for socialism. Which, as a free market libertarian-leaning person, adds to my irritation. Hey ho.

Shareholders are generally very tolerant of generous remuneration - as long as C-Suite delivers shareholder value.

IMO, they are doing quite well at the time of print, but well enough to justify these elevated numbers? On the fence with that one right now.

Maybe the Chairman (who got notably less support than the others) might consider putting his hand in his pocket and buying a hefty lump shortly?

I bet this would go some way to improving his support levels among the shareholders.

Anyway, my position is unchanged and I remain a bullish long here - but never blindly so.

Which will leave a core holding to run to my unchanged original target, while giving me more dry powder in case I have a chance to buy them back cheaper and repeat the trick.

But they will need to raise more cash via whatever vehicle (eg more shares issued, bank loans or asset sales) at least three months before then, and preferably closer to six, IMO. Especially in a credit environment like this one, to my mind. GLA.

Anyway, putting aside this new acquisition, where the cost is being met by printing a big slug of new JAY shares (subject to Board approval of course), how is the cash runway looking more generally?

A few of us attempted to estimate how long the last raise might last, but I do not remember the company giving any actual guidance on this at the time. Although if I am mistaken about that, my apologies and I am happy to be corrected.
