McBoatFace, I'm not sure where you are getting all your "facts", but you are often quite far off the mark! To choose just one from each of your last two posts:
"Just have a look at Britain's percentage of forestation during the last Ice Age. The UK was more or less all forest." Eh? no. During the last Ice Age, most of Britain was either under ice or was peri-glacial, certainly not forested.
"One bizarre consequence of all this glacial melt is that Spring comes earlier, plankton blooms are more prolific and more widespread." Perhaps, but plankton blooms run out of steam in summer, when water trace elements become the limiting factor. If the bloom starts earlier, it ends earlier. Of course, for phytoplankton in northern latitudes, sunlight also limits early season growth.
