US jobless figures taking nearly everything down. Russell 2000 Index down over 4%. Interesting that the FED is more likely to cut rates now though which is bullish.

It seems our rise has been on the back of a more likely Trump Presidential win, the Russell 2000 has spiked with which now DEC is part of and we've benefited from it.

The US closed down on Friday, but London today didn't open at the US closing price so at opening the US matched London.

I agree Nick, it's a risk with US rates currently. Strange situation to come as the ECB is expected to cut this month.

If rates do drop, they could look at refinancing with lower rates in future and paying off this ABS note earlier as they have announced with two ABS notes they are using this funding for.

Interesting to see how much free cash flow this also frees up not having the two notes maturing and payments due.

The revolving credit facility is the most expensive interest bearing. The more that is paid off the better.

I believe the previous increase in share price affected the buybacks, unable to buyback with a certain increase over a period of time...

But it's annoying they didn't make up for the missing days with increasing yesterday's buyback!! Ffs.

Seems they prefer to put a dent into the resolving credit facility (It Is DEC's most expensive interest incurring debt!) and deleverage currently, while potentially looking at other assets to aquire as always. $220m due in ABS notes this year too.

Wish we knew the details between the broker and DEC for the buybacks, but so would shorters! Lol.

I agree the buyback sucks.

But they also have to reduce the revolving credit facility down. The Fed is struggling to fight inflation and with Middle East uncertainty. Talk of the Fed not cutting rates, but increasing them further is starting to get louder. Bonds hitting YTD highs. Thankfully most debt is fixed.
