Very disappointing. We're already at a P/E ratio of just over 5. Even with the profit warning, totally undervalued.

The current buyback is totally independent from the BoD. Any change would need to be announced to the market beforehand.

Buying shares at 100p vs 125p isn't "unnecessary cash leak".

Really wish to be a fly on the wall with the discussions with Verdane. Especially it's now been a month and a half since it we went into this period.

Strange. My guess it would be the broker doing some magic for the buyback volume.

Today's volume sucks though, might not see a 100k buyback unless volume really picks up in the last hour, which it does sometimes.

It isn't. No such thing has every happened in the history of the LSE, whatever way you look at it.

What matters is total shares with voting rights. Cancelling wouldn't have any affect on SP just as in September 2024 when they cancelled 14,400,000 shares from the treasury.

Directors always have share warrants and incentives for performance, better to be given/buy shares via treasury than listing new shares for such.

If a placing is needed, listing new shares never stopped any company on AIM :)

The current buyback is near 1% of the company's shares not held inside the treasury A MONTH.

Also, near 50% of the company is already held by insiders. So you're looking at a near 2% buyback A MONTH.

It sure is a strange one with the extension and drop in share price.
