We know that already with the massive increase in jobs advertised by ITM and lots of ex Linde employees joining ITM

This is about USA & Fortescue in Australia, nothing new here but I’m sure you know that, right?

ITM Power and more recently Hydropulse are predominantly building a massive pipeline in Europe and UK , and when USA and Australia are ready in 3 or 4 years time ITM Power will be in an even stronger position to take advantage of those markets.

Snam is partnering with Hera to develop a green hydrogen production hub in Modena, with a goal of producing 400 tonnes of hydrogen per year from water and renewable energy. They are in direct competition with Hydropulse which is why they’ve sold up! Who knows, but maybe they wanted to buy out ITM and Hydropulse and they major shareholders said No?

Snam has sold its stake in ITM Power, completely exiting the shareholder base of the British company active in the development and production of PEM-based electrolyzers.

The Italian TSO revealed this in its half-yearly financial report, specifying that it "completed the sale of its entire stake in ITM Power, equal to approximately 12.8 million shares (corresponding to 2.07% of the share capital), through the sale of the shares on the market through a financial intermediary, for a total consideration of 10 million pounds, equivalent to approximately 11 million euros."

Snam acquired a shareholder base of ITM Power in October 2020, subscribing for 30 million pounds as part of a 150 million capital increase launched by the British company.

ITM Power recently decided to expand its business, combining its traditional production of electrolysis plants with a new business model with Hydropulse, a new company launched last June. Hydropulse will be responsible for building, owning, and directly managing decentralized hydrogen production plants based on NEPTUNE modular technology, and will then supply industrial customers with H2 through long-term contracts.

Returning to Snam, the half-yearly report highlights the company's decidedly positive performance in the first half of 2025, characterized by total revenues growing by 5.9% to 1.9 billion euros, adjusted EBITDA also increasing by 5.3% to 1.5 billion euros, and adjusted net profit of €750 million, 8.5% higher than in the first half of 2024.
