Well said Hillseeker. GM received the first tranche and used half a million ion of it to buy shares.
CovOpp you have to read the whole thread.
The apostrophe in Pedants Corner
Ventura off to the Pedants Corner with you, and don't come out until you have correctly placed the apostrophe :)
I agree with Bubblegum. Very interesting bit of timing with half-year results just around the corner.
@HarChris. My point exactly, I did say sales side AND all the contracts.
Basically, put some meat on the bones for us shareholders.
I'm still waiting for a proper operations update. The two most recent have :
A) confirmed the financial situation that we already new about, and
B) told us about yet another new product (more jam).
My question is what has the company being doing over the last 6 months besides fighting with it's largest client and a whole lot of R&D? At some stage they should tell us about the sales side and all the new contracts they have been awarded around the world.
My comments re jam and show me the money are based on the following:
1. Not everyone has been invested in the share for 12 months and therefore cannot fall back on the gains that some of us have to support our positions.
2. For anyone who invested, or indeed topped up, in the last 6 - 8 months it would have been based on the information available at the time (always assuming that they did some research of their own). This would have included the contract that is now under dispute and the projected revenues as put out by the brokers.
3. Since January the only financial news we have received has thrown the only contract we know about into doubt and told us that the expected revenues could be up to 50% down.
4. The rest of the RNSs have been all about how good the research is, the development of the equipment, new tests, additional staff etc. Jam!
5. There has not been any confirmation of a single contract that could go anywhere near to the one we might be losing.
I am invested here, albeit in Paris, and will continue to hold. I just wish that GM would show shareholders that some of the company's efforts are bearing fruit.
More jam, show me the money.
Time for some proper operational updates. So far this year we have had poor financial news and jam. (New products, new approvals, expanding markets etc.) Nothing to show that all this hard work is bringing in the money.
It's time GM gave shareholders a boost.
Not big volumes here or in Paris today. Looks like most people have already factored this news into their valuations and are prepared to hold.
And some high profile advertising.
They are not hiding anything. There were two options open to the company: release them with a qualified audit report pending the outcome of the dispute; or delay until the accounts can pass unqualified. Simple accounting procedure.
I prefer this route as there is no chance for any ambiguity.
And if you think the Indian variant is bad, wait until the Chinese release their variant, along with all their crap diagnostics, tests, vaccines etc.....
Why is no one holding them accountable for this global disaster? BoJo is a wimp.
Maybe you answered my question about the CFO
Has had 3 months on the job. I wonder what has kept him busy?
What does Mullis have to do to convince the world that NCYT is here to stay.
Maybe there will be a happy ending to the virus after all
Not what is needed to get the share price moving. We will stay at these levels until we get an operations update or notice of some sort of corporate action.
We've had a numbers update (in line with market expectations), an R&D update (very good, shows depth and ability to sustain post Covid markets), now we need an operations update. This should contain insights into contracts that have been extended, new contracts, new markets and key organisational changes, new staff etc, to prove that the the money in the bank and the R&D are being put to good use.
Then the sp might move.
