Not one leader in the western world has the cojons to stand up to them. It is times like this that I miss Donald.

The Omicron variant is not an African or a South African variant. South African virologists, who are among the world leaders in these matters, were the first to identify it. The dumbass, left-wing press, who refuse to call the original strain the Wuhan or Chinese virus, are now vilifying the whole of the African continent. It is time for the rest of the world to wake up and get a pair, as Donald Trump had, and take the Chinese to task.

This is not a Covid share any more. The Covid phase ran out a year ago and lots of people made a lot of money, well done, and well done GM for recognising opportunity. NCYT is now back to being a leading diagnostics company. Look at the underlying fundamentals and decide if you are here as a true investor or someone who is selling their own book and still trying to make a quick buck out of Covid. The BoD knows where this company is going. The obvious exit plan is a buy out, which is what I am hoping for and hopefully will make the Covid profits look silly.

It's going to be a rollercoaster morning judging by the early numbers showing in Paris.

Maybe I've missed something, but why would the company have a rights issue at the same time that it is doing a share buyback? Just a question.

If the BoD are going to have anything upbeat to discuss at the AGM they need to inform the market beforehand. Hopefully a good news RNS either this evening or tomorrow morning.

At last we have clarity, a clear division between the disputed contract and the rest of the business.
For once I agree with the accounting standards forcing that have forced the issue.
The market can now value Novacyt properly and if you look at the sanitized figures it is still undervalued. Any positive result from the dispute will be a super bonus.

And the share price is WHAT!!!!?

We really only need three things to determine the well-being of the company:
An update on the DHSC contract;
A look at the latest management accounts; and
The current order book.
The rest is all posture and conjecture.

If I was taking over the running of a listed company I would want a very clear line drawn in the sand for my performance to be measured from. I think DA will be having a close look at the H2 numbers to make sure that nothing is going to creep out and bote him in a few months time.

Unfortunately we are caught between a brick and a hard place. Until we get the H2 numbers the market is going to treat us with caution. You must remember that our numbers were believed and the sp soared, then we were informed of the dispute, and everything before that became a lie. Now we are sitting in the position where the market doesn't trust us and wants to see the first 6 months of trading without the disputed contract in order to re-evaluate the situation.
I know we had a trading update recently but that is not how the market works; they need to compare apples with apples. so a 5 month trading update is not sufficient, half year figures are what is needed. Personally I believe they will be good, we just need to see them.

Let's have the HY results asap. The market likes to see the numbers to make sure no one's been telling porkies.

The sp will continue to drift down until we get the H1 results. The market wants to see that there is life after DHSC, and that the company isn't hiding any more shocks. Clear that out of the way and I'm sure we will be north of £5.40

The market expected, or was hoping for, H1 results today. Now the sp is being punished. Jmo.
