If gold keeps rising and overall debt decreases in line with or better than the % gold increases it’s not necessarily wishful thinking. Here’s to multi bags for us all and who knows, maybe even dividends. There, I said it…..

Well LeeHC, only holding for a couple of years now although I did expect it to turn a little earlier. But who could have predicted everything that has happened these past few years so I’m not complaining. All MTL needs is a little more financial confidence/stability which I hope we will see in the next RNS. Personally I think we will then see a steady (but most likely) stuttering climb upward to the 3’s during 2023.
As always though, this is just my opinion so DYOR. I try not to take other people’s opinions as a basis of where to put your own hard earned, particularly on an open BB.

Bet that new guy who’s just waltzed in and who knows exactly what is going on with the company strategy is really wishing he could get his 350k back. What on earth was he thinking!!

Morserouter - just an opinion on my part rather than a recommendation but well done buying in just before the moderate rise. Lots on investors moving into mining last week so hopefully the SP will hold.
My guess is that the big money is waiting to see if this quarters results pay down the 15% noose we’ve been held back by.
The longer term projections into 2025 are very heartening and that’s why I’m still holding.

I’m one of those but am still sat on a bit of a paper loss at the moment.
Confident that this will show some decent growth once the senior debt is repaid. Couple this with sustained/increasing gold price, management of illegal miners and efficient mining operations and this should show a few bags. Not too much to ask surely, waited long enough!!

Speaking of Mr WB - I believe he once said that if you can’t sit and watch your investment lose 50% then you shouldn’t be in the stock market.

One would assume that a Director of a listed company would have a modicum of commercial acumen. Surely then, only a fool would simply throw away money just so it looks good in an RNS, irrespective of if it’s small beans to them or not. To prop up the SP whilst you bail perhaps but Imo this is an astute move and one which I hope investors recognise.

Indeed. Like I said DYOR as not all the fact are found on an independent BB.

Cheers 944T - it was just an echo of others (yours inc.) but sometimes the nonsense here can be misleading to others (like me) who sit on the sidelines but who then make a judgement based on opinions not facts.

Been following this site for some time now - one of the silent stalkers. Just wanted to add my thinking which is no secret formula and has been set out by others many times. DYOR and sift through the BS. Simply decide for yourself if this is a classic contrarian stock - personally, I do.
Of course there are potential downsides, apart from this being AIM and mining of course which is usually a marriage for disaster in itself. Current global squeeze, FED game play, fluctuating and difficult to predict ore prices, investors looking for easy and safe havens, those delightful short sellers, day traders (not with this spread lol) etc etc.
As others have said repeatedly, not for the faint hearted.
IMO, buy here if you haven’t (you know who you are :-)), or hold and enjoy the rise when (if?) it happens. There are too many positives here lately (for me) so it seems a pretty good gamble.
Many will have their own strategies so forge your own path but most important: DYOR, listen to all sides and your gut/head should tell you what suits best.

I think it’s because you add ‘oh dear’ at the end Chris. Like all the people who are invested here (unlike you) we do like to listen to all sides. Perhaps if you presented something other than negative press and the inference that we are all missing something, you may get a warmer reception.
