Wondering the same thing. Mm’s always seem to want to drag the SP down but even more so today. I assumed the 6 week lost output was priced in already.

Even record breaking quarterlies have a muted upward impact usually - looks like they might really hammer it down when the next ones are released. Bit disgusting really, seriously need to be listed on a better regulated market asap.

If I was looking to put 100k somewhere I wouldn’t take advice from unknown people on a website. Suggest you watch interviews, read the RNS’s and make your own call but I’m sure you know this anyway.

Quite a few posts on here have bullet pointed the activity and timelines so scroll back through these too and marry them to the interviews and RNS’s for accuracy.

The manipulation has been going on for months. Along with ‘adjusting’ the spread to cover.

Agree with what’s been said. Should be valued a lot higher than we are - I’d say 15p now.

I’ve said before that MTL is perhaps too predictable in that the timelines for progress are clearly mapped out so investors feel they can wait.

A move from AIM would be most welcomed - perhaps the BOD is waiting for the MCAP to reach the threshold for entry to the FTSE. Here’s hoping for both an MCAP twice this size and announcement of share consolidation and FTSE listing.

THX announced dividends and that creates attention.

In my opinion MTL are likely to be pegged back until that changes and/or we move to FTSE250. Not ignoring ongoing developments which will move the SP of course but I can’t help but think that those are limiting factors.

Yea sorry - I seem like I’m coming across slightly negative. Not my intention as the future should be amazing and I’m as certain as I can be that DB and the team will deliver.

I know all that’s needed is time. I think I may be a little frustrated with daily pull backs even though the trend is there.

Should know better by now.

CCC - it only makes sense as I have so much in MTL that if the unforeseen happens I may not have enough liquidity elsewhere to wait for another recovery. Granted, it would have to be pretty darn catastrophic and I’m fairly sure that even then I’d probably end up with more than I started with.

Over time I have sold out of (almost) every other share I owned as the MTL story unfolded and invested it here, my wife too. To say I am over exposed is an understatement, I have no safety net. Most would say this is foolish, I just say it makes me uncomfortable.

On a serious note CCC - I do struggle to understand why MTL isn’t at the price it should be. Maybe too many rainbow chasers working other gold stocks or larger investors holding off until we are closer to a 2nd producing asset? Drill results may give us a leg up though. IMO we should be 16p now although this has always been a share that doesn’t appear to follow predictable behaviour.

In any case, I have been here a good few years now with what at the time was a bit of a gamble. I’m not greedy by nature but do see this as my last 10 bagger. If/when it gets there, which will I would hope will be this time next year, I shall decide on holding out for dividends or offer my holding to the CFO and finally retire to the sun.

Until then, being massively over exposed I get nervous at no or not so great news and comfort myself with my spreadsheet showing the upward trend.

I seem to remember this being discussed in one of DB’s interviews.

His answer was along the line of - given the levels efficiency from the biox it was uneconomic to recover what was left in the tailings. That may change of course as new mines are brought on line.

RNS of 28th Aug stated production back to normal levels ‘within the next two weeks’.

So yes, like you say, the time has passed. Rather unusual for MTL to slip a stated timeline good or bad.

It would be very nice to know that Runruno has a working biox.

Lee - like you I have seen how DB operates. Key stage of getting the plant to site has been ticked off with 1 month in hand. I’m guessing that there was a ‘delay’ period built into this and there will no doubt be fat built into the install, set-up and proving of all plant. If everything goes smoothly then all of the in-built fat of those timelines will also be cut away.

So, if (big if sure) it all comes off without a hitch, I’ll be even more bold and say that we could see full operation mid Q3 26.

Sure, if the biox fails for the next 7 months then perhaps Drax might step in but seriously, what CEO and CFO would suggest to the board that ‘we need even more FCF just because we need more FCF’.

Company debt is healthy when required to generate turnover but not ‘because I think the market would like to see it.’

Can’t see divs until after a FTSE250 listing and can’t see that until La India is up, running and tweaked to optimum production.

IMO a move from AIM to a better regulated market can’t happen soon enough.

Whether you profit or not is irrelevant. It is the action itself (the buying and/or selling of shares) that is construed as insider trading and the rules are quite clear.

The production halt would likely (and did) have an effect on the share price. As the information was not in the public domain a significant shareholder buying/selling shares could be held accountable for insider trading.

It’s appreciate that the unreleased information is likely detrimental to the SP so buying would seem to be the opposite of what one should do. However, making poor choices isn’t itself insider trading but trading whilst SP affecting information hasn’t been RNS’d is, that much is clear.

Some may see it as fine line but I’m pretty sure it’s one that Drachs Legal Team would be unlikely to test.
