Interesting angle but I think it may be a marriage now. Been in and out for the last year or 2 so not really made much (I feel for the 2009 holders). But I see this now as dividends alone it is just a hold and see. If things stay like they are they will make significant profit that will go to dividends each year - justifying the cost and perhaps making share price appreciate. On top of that - they sit on 450Million barrels of oil or more! At profit of £6 a barrel that is about $3B which is a significant increase to their market cap. Anyway I am often wrong but holding these for the divis alone

Its all about commodities at the moment and the LSE is flush with miners etc. Still one day they will swing back in. I've been thinking hard on which shares to sell to buy commodities but have kept my ezj wizz as they are so low at the moment. They should have a nice rebound at some point.

I wouldnt listen to JPM as they shorter the shares and the next day reduced the outlook. Vested interest to save that stupid move. Nothing wrong here ATM - buying opportunity into the new year. I think momentum will change soon.

Flew to Canada then USA over the weekend. While not directly related to EZJ - the airports and aircraft were surprisingly rammed full of people for this time of year. Flying does seem to be the last thing people are skimping on in this economy. I still hold this irritating share.... I think the downgrade is just plain wrong. Just remember that these sort of events are an opportunity..... one day.....maybe....

So the high grade results were about 400gms per ton. That works out to be about £30K per cubic yard of material (check my calculations). If that vein is big thats a lot of margaritas....

So i've been looking at some of the briefings from Brad and team. What i find impressive is Brad's focus on costs - he seems to be very careful not to spend money that doesn't need to be spent. Also, I find the rate of drilling very comforting. So unless they have completely fabricated their results - there is definitely significant profit to be made here - multiples.

On the negative side I notice the insider share holdings are not huge (how accurate that data is I don't know). Perhaps that is insignificant as once they are producing gold they will get their reward in remuneration.

Anyway, I am convinced by them - and if it is true then the reward in these shares will come.

Well if they found 5M ounces - it wouldn't be $500m company it would be 5000000x$2600 (at todays price minus cost) =$13B! company.... But its not 5M at the moment...

Yep, I agree 100K shares is likely to be private investors. Still not seeing the big guns but maybe soon

Oh I get excited by any positive things about ezj at the moment lol. Divi.....well its something.... in march.... Anyway people will buy into the ex divi date in Feb later in the year (or it least it will act as a bit of a price buffer on any falls). But lets not talk about falls - the point is there is no reason for this low price - ezj is like a regular company and should have a higher valuation. But next announcement I will have some powder dry for the inevitable drop and recovery - fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, fool me a dozen times them I am just a dumb f***. Well my wife thinks so.

@max_run made me laugh this morning. Anyway all dogs have their day - for ezj its just not today. EZJ could buy either Wizz or Jet2 without breaking a sweat. They definitely need to get some sort of spark to ignite the imagination of shareholders....That said, maybe divi will be about 16p this year, profits better than last year and nice overall low valued (with a positive upside) stable company. There are potentially a few HUGE catalysts that would send this share far higher - interest rate cut, lower oil price as predicted and the end of some of the various wars.

Today's price is a great price and the business is good. I mean last year was a crazy good year and this year we are still beating the numbers from that!

Jet2 isn't so bad all figures up from 2024. Profit at lower end of guidance but still looking at a PE of about 6 which is pretty low. EZJ is one of the best placed carriers with lots of cash. We just need world peace. Anyway I think its all a little over cooked to the downside at the moment. I cant believe shares like diageo trade on P/E of 25! for a dwindling business.

I think I mentioned the 1700 figure for wizz and about 600 for ezj. Obviously no one know for sure or else we would be on a yacht not lse.co.uk. But still think that is the direction. Holidays are the last thing people are cutting and flights on budget airlines are nearly ass cheap as UK travel - then it is still cheaper in spain and portugal, etc once there. Numbers are still growing, P/Es are still low, divis increasing, QE will push people to equities for a while. That's my theory.

So still stand by that and picked up more EZJ and JET2 this am. Hope I'm correct as very exposed - but saved by gold and google atm. These shares were low last summer as well, we always drop on results or competitor results (need to be smarter about that). Still positive - buy when everyone is fearful! I guess the question is how fearful :)

Darn I keep forgetting about the budget - at least its pushed as late as possible - i suspect no good will come of that :(

I was the same with Wizz dabbled and maybe broke even - but watched how volatile it was - when it dipped to 1250 then 1000ish - the numbers really added up even without a recovery. Add in the recovery and seemed a bit risky but with potential big rewards. I am a buyer at under 1350 with a view to a hopeful 1700ish recovery in the short term. EZJ I am a buyer under 500 with a view to 600ish in the short term (6 months). EZJ is my number one overall holding Wizz second, then google, caml, HOC, TW in that order - and other stuff after that...Hoping we will all be good while they print a bunch of cash - then I'm running for cover....

Yeah.... IAG..... before the trump presidency I would have said IAG was on the way to 6 (I like to think big). But after it was clear that leisure travel to the USA would suffer and as it was a big part of their profits I thought it would under perform and more people would travel in europe - hence EZj or Wizz or JET2 would benefit. I am still of that opinion but worry that I will miss out on IAG as it is making so much cash compared to the price and travel elsewhere is still good. But i am underweighting them (like I did to RR after making double but then missing out on the investment of a lifetime). Don't think IAG is an RR though. I am still hoping with the end of hostilities EZJ will rise 50-100%. Potentially more for Wizz but they are less stable.

Exploratory miners - i hate them. Only bought OMI for a bit of a punt. But bought into a few and tend to have lost - ARCM for example - if they cant drill holes fast then they are a scam in my book. Also if the CEOs do web casts from their bedrooms = scam. But not saying money cant be made but i feel they have cost me money against solid investments. They are for the gamblers. At least OMI is digging holes fast - so who knows.

Oh I also forget to say I am building in TW (started at about 105 so down atm) . But they have a big divi and are low priced (on one off costs in results?) anyway thats me Go EZJ - yesterday was not a great day but there is always today!

Well another quiet day for us. Its no different for all the airlines i guess - Wizz has dropped quite a bit over the last period (although seems more volatile than EZJ) and can't figure out IAG which is up then down. Anyway, I am holding strong with EZJ and Wizz and moved some IAG (which i pray will not do an RR on me!) into gold silver (and I hope I am not too late on that as I do tend to buy at too high a level). EZJ makes great money, Wizz is great recovery play - they should ramp up into the new year (I hope) - but can you imagine the bump if we get peace in the Ukraine (although I think that doesn't seem really close atm).

So as we wait the great bounce here are some of my recent trades (do not follow this is for chit chat only) - for metals, been playing around with HOC - took a dive after results but bounced well so bought more this morning - it may be another case of missing the boat but still seems well valued - hopefully get a bit of profit and back into the airlines in a few weeks. Also bought OMI yesterday - non productive exploration company - I have lost more money in exploration companies than I care to count but I am a glutton for punishment. Also have CAML which has had a good run and expect a nice divi declared at end of month. Then predict price pull back as copper seems to be in same space as EZJ.

Have some banks - but been super scared of financial collapse with all the long term bond talk - which i don't understand - so sold a bit of those.

Oh almost forgot have google - from about 160 - which ran good everyone said was running out of steam and had a big lawsuit over their heads. But thankfully yesterday lawsuit cleared after hours - so see a little reward there today!!!

Finally some crypto AI stuff - MSTR (not doing well)), COIN (down a bit), CRWV (down a bit) - still don't know about crypto.....also small bit in ether and btc. Not much but got to be in it to win it. My question is , when all the btc is mined - who supports the network?????

Anyway while we wait for other news and EZJ great rise to £10 would be interested in other peoples other investments.....
