Your point about 'old device usually used to mean the company is for sale' seems spot on. In the RNS they even say 'Currently, the review is not actively considering an offer for the company'. From their timeline in the presentation they seem in no hurry to start the trial which, now that you said that, seems to be a strong call for selling the company (get your offers in!) before the trial. Which is really no bad news as it seems clear this would be handled better by a larger pharma co. The offer would likely be well in excess of current valuations given the current market cap and potential for the drug. So looks like this will be sold within the year (before cash runs out?). But I am generally wrong but even a stopped clock is right once a day (I mean twice).

I dont like to say anything negative about D|EST as I hold shares. But FFS, a strategic review? What a load of @:%! . Thery are a small company with 24 employees. Just make a decision and go with it. And for trial redesign? It seems like a total shambles who designed the first trial? bob the builder? I still think this could be big, but lets have some information on why startup of the trial is taking so long. Have they made any submissions to get the trial approved yet? And they are supposed to fund the trial without diluting the shares? How does that work? These people need to pull their fingers out....

Well you are aptly named 'nofear'. I am fearful for sure. But saying that the company has £6M in cash which sort of values the company and IP at £8M. That sounds like a lot but in company terms that is tiny so I see some upside. But given the slowness of the company to get underway on the trials - perhaps the board should volunteer to work for free until a deal is done or product emerges? I know those guys aren't short on cash - nice idea but don't see it happening.

Well falling into the AIM trap of trying to pick the bottom. But bought a tiny bit more as the Market Cap of the company is only 14m! Could lose it all but if any of the Destiny story is true could make a load of cash. Big 'if' though..... Is that a pump? not sure? Need a magic 8 ball!

Apparently its results next week. I didn't even know DEST had results. Anyway lets hope they saved some good news for the results................................................................................................

The value here seems insanely good. It is trading on a P/E of 2.x , debt is manageable. Future is bright. But shareholders of value shares want to see signs of some cash back which I assume is what is holding the share price back. I was surprised a dividend of some sort wasn't announced. Regardless the fundamentals here seem totally solid.

Still makes no sense that this share isnt going up but think it may over the next few months - slow an steady. Even with the car finance issue (at a 2B loss that is only 1 quarter of profit!) we are looking at a PE of less than 4, cash of 2 x MCAP, shareholders returns of 15%. The only think i see is the threat of a Labour Government implementing a windfall tax - but I don't think they would given the dire state of the share price and the fact that pension funds need a gain and banks are needed desperately in the country to be profitable to bring back some growth in financial services. My view is that a PE of 10-12 is not overly greedy at some point. When that comes is anyone's guess :( . I would like to get sosme money back given the years I have been a supporter of the bank. pleaseee.....lol

In my opinion the RNS was good news - Tovey said he would be looking at other ways to make the product more valuable and the new treatments outlined show just that. I don't think this means the main push is going any slower - they are just going to continue to trial new uses so that they can be brought online when the trials are positive. They should still be able to put the drugs into use for the original purpose without any delays. Obviously dont like the drop but can't see why it happened. Same happened to EZJ when they announced great results about 4 months ago - the shares had a big drop. Can't figure it out but it all corrected in the end. Hopefully all the panic sellers and stop losses are out. I have to admit that I was thinking of ditching this morning (after picking up a few additional at end of day yesterday). But i have seen nothing to point to any failure here and we are at Phase 3 - so pretty close...... And still deals in the making (hopefully). I would buy more now but I don't have the ala alas....

@speckledjim36 I don't know why in particular other than it makes a good exit point and quick profits. I mean Hotel Chocolate didn't seem too upset. Stelios and Clelia own about 10% of the company and may want to exit. No idea really but they did commit to a lot of aircraft which is unusual for EZY. Maybe they are also tired of having a low valuation and a sale will bring value to all. It's all just mere speculation.

Talking of takeover rumours. I haven't heard any, but I do get the feeling that EZY is positioning itself for takeover based on 2 factors. 1. not too much debt and very cash +ve operations. 2. the ordering of large numbers of aircraft which will be in short supply. If the big carriers want to grow - EZY seems like a good answer. But this is just my speculation in the interim while I wait maybe get some share price growth and divi's.

How the heck is this share still priced at levels seen during the peak of the pandemic! Even if we have recession can it currently be in a worse position than that?

Well great results and the shares drop! But I take this as great news as I have more IAG shares and I don't expect their results to be nearly as good - so they should go up significantly!!!

Carnival did exactly what you describe on good results.

Jet2 smashes 2020 profit and is down 13%. Exact same pattern as Carnival. Shares recovered next day. But makes no sense.

Thanks all. Will try and work my way through the numbers etc. Had some faith in the recommendation and it seemed like revenue was very strong so took a little punt. Also quite low compared to what it has been - but read saying on another board that 'he who picks from bottom ends up with smelly finger' - thought that was quite amusing..... I have always been one to try and catch a falling knife (unsuccessfully). Appreciate the input and data!

So just bought in a bit as picking up positive vibes from a lot of people's statements (one person in particular that seems to get things right quite often?!) and revenue growth seems amazing. But can't understand why (given that revenue), net income is reducing at an increasing pace? what is causing this and are they likely to make that net income figure turn positive at any point? Any thoughts welcome...

Yeah maybe I am wrong (I usually am) . But just going to hold some spare ammo until its sorted. Just don't trust the USA and current craziness and inability to work together. fingers crossed all goes well.

While I hope to be wrong and I usually hold everything, sold some stuff yesterday and today (about 30% holdings). In the short term i can't see anything to drive the price up and the debt ceiling is a major issue in my mind driving the market over the next week. Hopefully I can be quick when they settle and buy back in quickly , but until then not sure who would be buying anything in the broad market without some positive news expected? BTW I am always wrong so maybe good time to buy?
