so Centrica luckily escaped FTSE 100 eviction. Thanks to last minute rise! Hopefully by next quarterly FTSE 100 review, centrica should be trading close to 100p..

Thanks to my expectations, predictions or what you call it.. "by 9th september, centrica should be trading on 70p plus so should stay close to exit FTSE100"

Looks like not very far away from it.. Centrica will remain on FTSE 100 and even if not, it wont take that very short time to get promoted to FTSE 100...

Oops! That was bit annoying to see 63p on a good day for UK utilities! Centrica almost heading out of FTSE 100. Hopefully that was the end of it... LOL!

Bad week will be good week for centrica LOL!... My entry point was 72p... although I missed 71p.. Anything below 71p will be a big opportunity to buy for me and will top up more and more.. At current price, 1.5p and 5p dividend still looks very sweet LOL!

Just like you many investors sold it on the result day. But now its all done. Dividend is now cut more than expected as it was a dividend investment stock, all bad news (internal and external) are already factored in. Moody outlook was also out and even Conn will be gone soon.. There may be few more downward pressure but this should be the end of it.. What more bad news can come out if one can imagine???
Anyway, to me its the best time to buy. If not atleast not the time to sell for other holding investors..

looks like we are now close to bargain price. Although FTSE 100 relegation still exist, investors will consider it be cheap enough for long term investment. We should see a steady rise from here as all the bad news are now priced in. 71p should be the bottom. I hope I am right (mostly)

75p! Moody downgraded Centrica, Broker rating cut, still not looking good at this price.. Still lot left to short.. LOL!

You need to read the news properly. Con will still be CEO until AGM 2020. There is nothing much horrible on the report. Dividend cut, poor cash flow was already expected and priced in due to regulation and other external factors. Important factor to look upon is - Outlook. They are more positive on H2 and the cash flow will be very strong on 2020. So this should push the share price higher.
They have sensibly cut the dividend to 5p. All looking good for Centrica. Now that all getting clear with price cap effect etc, share price should soar.... Will that be by 10% or 20% only market can tell..

So Con will be gone next year which is better!

Looks like 100p open as they met what HSBC wanted for share price to improve i.e "HSBC says to improve share price, CNA needs to cut dividend, reduce churn in British Gas and reassure that cost cutting would lead to higher margins for 2020"

HSBC silly upgrade keeping 90p target is useless for Centrica. This will mean shorters can still safely short above 90p. Bullish game badly spoiled by this muppet.. . LOL!

I take that back. LOL! .. cannot short now as results are due tomorrow plus Utility sector is up by over 1% so far. Perfect day for centrica to close above 92p. And if results are better than expect 100p + , otherwise 80p and below open on Tuesday..

Wow 91p open for no reason means, I can safely short further for the day until share price back to 88p! LOL..

Looks like Conn will be sacked amid profit warning. FTSE 100 relegation seems to be now guaranteed. Conn still hold huge amount of shares so he will have hardly anything to lose. I think it will be 70p open on Tuesday... LOL!

This is now getting very serious... My predictions for the results are Profit warning!, Centrica losing many more customers than expected, dividend will be completely removed, Conn to step down. This will make the share price drop to 20% and below to most likely 62p as others discussed here.. . Unfortunately this will mean, centrica will be relegated to FTSE 350 and share price will suffer badly further. Although I feel sorry for long holders, I am happy with my short position. LOL!

closed above 90p!!! Oh no... I cannot take this.. Will short heavily next week until it hits 80p.. Anyway my long awaited result ( poor) due soon too.. LOL!

I dont like 90p and shorters dont too.. Unfortunately, time to short again... LOL!
