Result clearly beaten analyst expectations so Vodafone should fly but not sure if it is relevant Vodafone India is down by 6.49% !
It should go up by 5% with that news... Will know in 24 minutes from now at the time of typing!

Do not fool yourselves with your made up Takeover rubbish etc. Only fools will take over any company that has been losing customers throughout the past 5 years! Takeover happens to solid company and I am afraid Centrica is not even any closer to that category!

Its not a great result. Oultook remained unchanged which means you will not see much upwards from current share price! As you are holding long, you are only seeing the positive side but look at their negative sides - they are going to get rid of 1000 more employees, still losing customers over 2% throughout their divisions, profit fell slightly no sign of reinstating dividend. Therefore why you would you invest on such a poor company that hardly has any growth!

You have waitied so far... just wait till tomorrow morning you should get an answer to all your questions I am not expecting bad news but hopefully some better outlook!

I think you do not follow the market. Yesterday market was down due to rise in Delta Variant. FTSE were down over 3% so one can expect share price to drop significantly. Its not just centrica, but most of the shares! Results will be out tomorrow and market seem to open positive today, so it should help share price recover from yesterday provided market does not make U turn again like yesterday!

I do not understand, why you waste your time on past or future of the company! Think about current, please try to learn... if you held this share when it was at £2 plus you would have been bankrupt by this time! If you held it for dividend, you would have cried..
We had a small correction last week, now investors will hunt for bargain shares (value stocks), energy and insurance are the ones to buy now. Banks and others have outperformed.. Therefore look for 60p plus soon. Do not worry about future (results etc).

Footfall will increase in fact as more Britain's will be spending their time in UK rather than abroad since government warning for booking holiday abroad. I Do not understand your concept, this is the only supermarket that sell food. Its smaller compared to asda , tesco, sainsbury but it's growing rapidly so you better change your thinking as this will soon be hitting 200 p +.

Sorry chaps. Apparently, relegation will be based on Tuesdays market cap and unfortunately Morrisons were on 111th yesterday which means they are definitely getting relegated which will be confirmed after market close today..

Getting there.. FTSE going down... MRW trying to recover... Market cap levelled for both MRW and FCIT at 4.10B.. Its going to be very interesting now!

Still closing very close market cap range with FCIT! MRW at 4.11B & FCIT at 4.13B... If MRW closes above 173p, there will be some hope to stay on FTSE100..

Final day is tomorrow. So I believe, after market close we will know. If MRW cannot go up on a up day, I doubt it will go up on a bad day. I think it should exit FTSE100.. But we never know... anything can change tomorrow.

MRW is making its own way for FTSE100 exit.. it is currently on 111th position which is automatic exit. FCIT is currently very close and above MRW market cap at 4.10B .. Unless MRW closes above 172p and higher today which I doubt they will definitely exit FTSE100... Also thats what shorters want.. Relegation to FTSE100 means further drop in share price and they make more money! Currently none of the good news helps ( Kantar etc) as this share is purely driven by the shorters.

I doubt Morrisons will ever exit FTSE100. They have now become takeover candidate purely because of their lower market cap and profitable business especially Amazon is using them. Profit not really matters here but mainly revenue which will increase!

The fall is due to profit takers. 191 is the highest price market want to hold at the moment. We hit 169p now which means buyers will jump in. Soon we should heading towards 180p. its very cheap compared to Sbry and tesco. Shorters numbers are very short nowadays since Reddit.
