Well, I'm happy with my research - I've invested on that basis and I'm happy to hold. All the while that it remains below 10p it's an absolute bargain and I'll do some topping up as and when funds allow. I'm in no hurry.

With the greatest of respect, the questions you ask only show, on the face of it, that you should not be anywhere near an AIM stock, yet you continually blame others ad nauseam for your lack of diligence.

Geordie, your _facts_ are a tad awry --- have a look at the contents of the petty-cash tin over the same time period, then take a look at how much is currently left in it. This is the probable reason that EVRH have been on the shorter's short-list for such an extended period yet has still survived the onslaught.

Trying to bend the fundamentals of this company to suit your own agenda cuts no ice with those who have done their research. The idea that you can influence investors with that kind of approach shows a fair level of naivety on your part!

FB's "get out of gaol" card is a small but hugely important clause in American Law that they jealously hide behind. The copyright of everything on FB is _NOT_ theirs! They are not content "providers" - they might stream you live videos as "facilitators", but the content is not their copyright and it's not their look out if there's any legal infringements. It's how FB have so often been able to take the back-seat they have on so many high-profile accusations, aimed at but almost always successfully deflected by them. They'll compromise that clause at their peril!

The biggest drawback with VR tech is that it's so insular. Making it possible to break that barrier and bring people together is exactly FB's bag and that's why they are supporting Melody. Once these avatars are working as intended, the range and scope of the advertising can be more and more tightly aimed as FB gathers data on groups as well as individuals. It's just an extension if their mass surveillance and another rich revenue source.

It won't be FB that bids - provision of media is not in their ambit - they are only interested in bringing people together around the tech to make it social - then they have their captive audience to bombard their advertising at. It'll be the likes of Google, M$, Disney, Sony, Apple, even Spotify - long list contd., - and what a bidding-war that will be!

Forget FB, they have a different agenda limited by their very heavily protected "it wasn't us" get-out clause in US Law...

It could be even more Chinese than Wishy Washy - so are you predicting an Asia launch as well? :)

Who on here has a Quest? I'm asking because I'm not sure how much the hand controllers rely upon thumb actions. I have gammy hands to the point where my thumbs can no longer work as intended. I've held out waiting for a better viewing platform, but will it be so frustrating that I'll want rid within minutes, because I don't have the motor-function to keep good control? I don't really want to compromise with a Go if I can avoid it.

...but no mention of the petty-cash tin - the one thing that's binding the shorters to this share :(

Despite some fantastic news today the SP has not even recovered its position from this time last week. It's pretty clear that we're being hit with a catch-22 situation. While there's still plenty of liquidity in the petty-cash tin, there's no point for big investors to pile in. The moment they do, the shorters will suck all the life out of it; seemingly at will. The SP is at the mercy of how the MMs want to manipulate it. All us PIs can do is sit tight and wait until the revenues chase off the blood-suckers. Where would the current SP be without their leeching - enough to top-slice and let the remainder float?

Horse, you overlook one thing - the share is un-investible by big players until the shorters stop draining every last penny to satisfy their wanton greed. Until they clear off, or change their stance, the price will stay in the doldrums. For us small P.I.s, it doesn't matter too much in the short term because we can fill our boots, knowing it's a pretty safe long-term bet. It sounds to me like you're breaking the #1 rule of AIM investing, using money you cannot afford to lose. Then you go on as if it's our fault. Geeez!!

Presumably the work of the new brokers. Cries for more investor news are going to evaporate if they're starting as they mean to go on. Good job!

Oh dear, this is so tantalising, but I can't watch! It's not that I don't want to, I really do, but my tech is apparently not compatible. I held out for the Oculus Quest, only to find that MVR doesn't feature on it and nary another mention since release. Is MVR ever likely to work on the Quest, or have I missed the announcement that it does?

Then despite having a phone that set me back a few hundred quid, only bought because of good battery life and clear screen, turns out that's a dud too. It isn't Android 9 that's the barrier, it has a 16:9 aspect screen rather than 18:9. Typical tech companies, change the ratio and overnight you create a new market through instant obsolescence.

So, spend more hundreds of pounds on a new phone that I don't need, or simply "go for the Go"? At the moment, I feel cheated and I doubt that I'm alone. I know, I'll buy out Sony, out of my profits next week...

Aren't FB going to have their own app? So, there'll be various other flavours offered also, maybe for a record company or individual artist. The personalisation options could well warrant that level of drilling-down, just like channels on youtube.

I have to chuckle. The ripostes here would suit and grace any play or sketch from desperate men in some sort of gold-rush. Even the thread title gives this theory credence. All the while the bickering goes on, the canny are steadily placing their cash almost secretly so they can take advantage of what it more or less a give-away price. The last RNS was barely the hors d'oeuvre. So that the BoD don't get taken apart too much, there has to be a healthy main course served for the AGM. All news from here is gonna be good news. Distraction, what distraction?

Not done a stellar job? Just where do you think the company would be without the huge top up of the petty-cash tin last year? It's 20 odd million quid that hasn't since got sucked out by the shorters and from the accounts recently published, one year on and there's still a healthy amount of that left. Clearly, you cannot see past the ends of your noses, and the rudeness of some remarks toward people you have never met is extraordinarily bad!

All it takes is some time and belief. However, the passage of time is not being wasted and the steady build of its music library is pure investment into a product that will continue producing income more or less forever. All the proper fundamentals are in place. A cash-rich company with directors who know exactly where they want to be, aided by World-renown talent, and recording agreements made with every major player, along with support by a major funder like FaceBook - what part of that is not to be liked?

Just sell up, you'll not find many AIM companies with such a bright future...

There is one part of the equation that has been overlooked in this debate. The only drain on the company is in the time taken to record new material; not least in waiting for events to actually happen. However, this is only a short-term drain because every new recording, once processed for distribution, has the potential to make money in perpetuity for nothing more than minimal storage costs. There aren't too many companies around with such a revenue earning stock-in-trade.

We simply need time and the events for the library to build and sustain a critical mass of potential consumption. As long as the quality remains the very best available at time of recording, then I'm in no hurry. In this business it'll be quality that sells and apps for mobiles will only be teasers for where the real money is, the full VR experience.

The buyout won't be by FB - they're not content providers, so MVR doesn't fit in their portfolio. The need for patience is borne out by complaints of a limited library. Until there are many, many more "quality" recordings in that library, don't expect much in-house shouting from the rooftops. The low key approach they are taking is the right one. MVR won't be bothering the likes of Spotify for quite a while yet and that doesn't bother me.

Just sit tight. We've invested in this share in the full knowledge that there's a huge risk attached. Most of us are under water, but I put my money in for a term, knowing that the fundamentals are pretty good for an AIM gamble. Most of what the BoD has done seems pretty sound and with plenty of talent _and_ cash, I've not many doubts about it paying-off, once their music library matures.

Well, I half expected a good buying day ahead of the Quest release in the US, but not a miniscule jump in the SP. Manipulation is insufficient description. What is going on?
