Do you take people for fools - you post on another board after the above to try and perpetuate your falsehood. You have no Lloyds shares, to 'soon' depart.

With your comments on Lloyds , an investor would simple post that he has sold out because of those opinions, and not hang about to be 'soon' very soon or imminent.

That is for current investors or potential new investors to decide.

Without buybacks there would be 76,675,953,467 shares in issue, so

with a current market cap of £32.1595 Billion that would equate to a price per share of 41.94p

3i Group reached yet another all time high breaking the £37 mark - nearly a 20 fold increase since my one and only purchase.

BT reached another 52 week high

Lloy continuing with the very low volume from yesterday when a large percentage of exchanged shares were in the end of day auction.

Only valued at £32 Billion - about 4 times underlying yearly profits.

I imagine major shareholders are not in a hurry to see a much higher share price whilst Billions are being spent on share buybacks at depressed levels, and thus naturally increasing their percentage ownership of Vodafone to a greater extent. The lower the buyback prices the better it will be for all shareholders planning to retain shares for the longer term.

Obviously there will be some wanting a triple digit share price asap so that they have the choice to make an exit.

LLOY now with a market valuation lower than NatWest.

DL is at under 160p because the RNS was after market close - so a bit of price action tomorrow likely

incorrect - it is a proposal, and the question has to be asked why the Direct Line share price is trading at under 160p per share when the proposed offer would be equivalent to 250p per share.

So be a bit more careful about what you post.

If you think that the takeover will take place then it would be a no brainer to purchase DL at 160p to get 250p back. An investors choice.

Why repeat it for the next X years.

We are not in the EU and the only way back in is via another referendum which is not on the cards.

The people of the UK if ever the unlikely referendum took place in 20 + years time and that the EU even still existed, I am sure would reject a move to give back control to Brussels, and to once again pay a fortune in annual fees, and the changing of our currency to the Euro.
