CyanConnode admittedly, have been a slow burner over the years Vas, and the management have grappled with some difficult situations during that development period. But CyanConnode have been simmering away quite nicely over the last 2/3 years and is now ready to come to the boil, I feel.

But as I think we agree, along with others, the AMISP progression, gives CyanConnode a whole new different perspective and direction. And not forgetting, as you have implied, the potential for long awaited contract disclosures, but also the opportunity for extending the existing Framework Agreement and other potential Framework Agreements, with other potential Companies.

So, the overall future for CyanConnode, I feel, is very bright.

Good afternoon all,

The reorganization within CyanConnode has ended up with the India Team header being dropped and a new Leadership header being introduced, along with the usual Board header.

Interesting.

All of the Team India seems to have been morphed into the new Leadership Group, with a new name added, Dushyant Singh, who joined CyanConnode in May 2024 " As Excecutive VP Software at CyanConnode, he will lead the global software team of the organisation."

Very interesting indeed.

Thank you very much for the PFI Report. It was very interesting and indeed, informative. So thank you for sharing.

Besides the wealth of information within the report on the various aspects of the Smart Metering Projects, Figure 2 - Illustrative Financing Structure For AMISP Project - gives a comprehensive illustration on the overall structure for AMISp projects.

And also confirm's, that now that CyanConnode's DigiSmart Networks is clasified as an AMISP, it has direct access to Banks and Financial Institutions, which you would think, will help fund the smart meter projects.

So good news I feel, as I am sure others do also.

I would imagin that there might be some " horse trading " that will go on, with various Company's, as there is plenty to go around. I am sure they will be able to negotiate their way through.

I am not aware of any payment structure in connection with AMISP's. I would think it will be something similar to other RDSS contractors - that being on a percentage basis. There may be something written down somewhere, but I cannot specifically remember.

For this type of contract, I might suggest a two-tier system, where the AMISP - in this case DigiSmart - would get a percentage of the overall contract, as a management fee, in staged payments over the duration of the installation contract ( 27 month's ), with a lower percentage of the fee, for the Support & Maintenance contract ( 7/8 years ).

CyanConnode would still charge for the Omnimesh modules and any ancilliary bits and pieces, as they normally would.

And to answer your question more directly, I think that CyanConnode as a Group, overall, definitely will be making more money.

But we will have to wait and see how the potential contracts unfold, going forward and how long we have to wait to see our first AMISP contract and from where.

Good morning Vas, tonyj, gizzmo and all,

The possibilities for developing business on a wider scale, has now increased for CyanConnode, in my opinion. And it will be interesting to see what the next order RNS is for ( numerically ), who it is from and CyanConnode's position within the RNS. AMISP or an order from/via an AMISP, as CyanConnode have had in the past.

There are many possibilities and opportunities for CyanConnode within the RDSS, that we have been eagerly waiting for news on, as you have mentioned this morning, Vas. Tamil Nadu is just one, with a zero allocated to the Awarded section in the NSGM report.

As CyanConnode have already delivered on a project for Tamil Nadu, with Genus Power and there are 30,000,000 smart meters waiting to be Awarded, out of the Sanctioned pot, it will indeed be another achievement for CyanConnode should CyanConnode receive an order Tamil Nadu, in whatever form.

Its worth remembering when Cyan, as it was known at the time, first tendered for Tamil Nadu some years ago, the overall opportunity I seem to remember, was 18,000,000 meters. Now it is 30,000,000.

DigiSmart was incorporated during February 2022. So now that the test certification has been formalized and DigiSmart can register its interest as a AMISP.

It does say that " Following a rigorous testing process ....... ", so how long that has taken, I personally do not know. But it should be of benefit to CyanConnode business wise, in developing even further, the India Smart Meter business.

And as I mentioned earlier, it may even add to the revenue calculations going forward, eventually.

Some interesting detail contained within the DigiSmart RNS:-

" Following a rigorous testing process, DigiSmart has successfully demonstrated an end-to-end Advanced Metering Infrastructure ( AMI ) prepaid solution, on its Omnimesh RF network. The certification, valid until 13 May, 2026, was issued by REC Ltd, ( a Public Sector Undertaking under Ministry of Power, Govt.of India ) in recognition of DigiSmart's adherence to the specifications outlined in the Request for Empanelment. This certification enables DigiSmart to bid directly as a AMISP, under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme ( RDSS ) for smart prepaid metering in India, on a Design, Build, Finance, Own, Operate and Transfer ( BBFOOT ) basis.

" The certification provides a strategic boost to CyanConnode in India, which is steadily increasing its footprint as the nationwide rollout of smart meters continues to gain momentum. CyanConnode's current order book stands at 6.6 million units, of which 3 million have already been dispatched.. Through DigiSmart, the Company would be responsible for the end-to-end execution of smart metering projects, from meter supply to Meter Data Management ( MDM )."

I see this as being really good news for CyanConnode and testiment to the steady progress and growth being made by the Company.

It may also add to the revenue calculations going forward, eventually, which will be an aditional benefit.

Good evening Vas. A very forward thinking project and thank you for posting.

All countries/companies, will be grappling with the best way to charge electric vehicles. Company fleet cars, that can be charged overnight, at home, or at the office through the day, will be key. In my opinion. With a bookable rota system for those that will need them, at the office. And dedicated space, of course.

The infrastructure for motorways will take years to put into place, coupled with the waiting time to charge the vehicle, if you can get a charging point. So a " fast charge " will also be essential for motorway service areas.

As with smart meters, very good idea, but the infrastructure must comes first.

Incidentally, the first petrol station in America, was established, according to Google, in 1905. With the first production Ford Model " T ", not being built until August 1908. So there was plenty of " infrastructure " time for gas/petrol stations to be developed and built.

But you have to start somewhere.
