We were delighted to interview Ippolito Cattaneo, CEO at Ajax Resources. Today Ajax has released an RNS outlining the strategy for the SPAC. The focus will be on critical metals needed for the low carbon economy ie metals like copper, nickel, cobalt, tin, gold, lithium and rare earths. The jurisdictions where acquisition opportunities are being evaluated are as follows: Canada, USA, Zambia, Namibia and Botswana, all with a positive outlook for miners. Of course after the Town Hall Q&A online came the in person Town Hall, with a record 100 in the room. The venue seem to have taken a shine to us as they let us stay until 9 pm. London South East interviewed Werner Klingenberg, Goldplat CEO and asked him about the impact of the electricity outages, why the audit had been delayed, what kind of a quarter it had been overall and how the diversification into South America had been progressing. He believes the solution to the outages issue is to increase capacity when electricity IS available rather than buy expensive generators and burn a lot of diesel - although it was perfectly feasible to do that. https://youtu.be/MqvNw403a4E
