Dear all, here is our interview with George Bennett, CEO at Rainbow Rare Earths. Basically he think last week's Flowsheet announcement is the biggest breakthrough since the start of the project - and to be fair he should know. He explains at length what working out the chemical extraction process to the satisfaction of Rainbow and K-Tech means, and looks at the commercial possibilities going forward. He touches on the Rare Earth elements share price towards the end of the interview. RBW have come a long way in a short time and are making excellent progress. Technical Feasibility Study next. Dear all,
We don't often have uranium content so we are taking this opportunity to share Consolidated Uranium's presentation and Q&A with you. They have a very full-on strategy and get a lot done quickly, which some of you may appreciate. They believe a uranium supercycle will be with us in 18 to 24 months. Dear all,
On the basis that you can't have too much lithium, here is the Sigma Lithium presentation from last night. Sigma are not very well known, yet they are starting to build what will be the world's fourth largest lithium mine in Brazil. The metrics for this mine are amazing and it is well worth checking the project out. It will be producing lithium by next year. Jamie Flegg's presentation is followed by a Q&A. https://youtu.be/lHUZXvObJq4
Dear all,
E3 Lithium presented at our mining webinar last night, and were talking about the strategic alliance between Imperial and E3. Imperial control access to the Leduc Aquifer, which was originally a major oil area in Alberta, and now the plan is to drill for Lithium brine. So the Imp share stake in ETMC could be crucial. The video is 30 minutes long, with Q&A for the last ten minutes. https://youtu.be/dtrNVmqBnhs
Dear all,
We thought you might find the E3 Lithium presentation useful as it allows you to contrast what CTL are doing in Chile with what E3 are achieving in Alberta, Canada. The Leduc Aquifer has been drilled for oil by Imperial Oil, and now
after 3.5 years of discussions they are working together and Imperial have taken a $6M Canadian share stake in #ETMC. Here is the video, the whole thing is 30 minutes long with Q&A at the end. https://youtu.be/dtrNVmqBnhs
The Wentworth CEO Katherine Roe spoke to London South East about the proposed purchase of the Ruvuma appraisal and development gas licence. She described the $16M deal as 'fair to both parties', with 3M$ paid up front and a loan agreement to Scirocco of $6.25M to fund the up front capital requirements of the development without having to dilute shareholders. She emphasised that with Government and local stakeholder connections and subsea and operational expertise developed over 10 years as a non-operating partner at Mnazi Bay they would make a success of the project. She did comment that if the seller #SCIR were to pay the up front costs themselves it would be 'very dilutive' for shareholders. Please view here: https://youtu.be/-GQ1PKsHzUc
Dear all, we spoke to Scirocco CEO Tom Reynolds, and in a detailed and wide ranging interview he works through the reasons why he and the board believe selling the 25% stake in the Ruvuma gas field in Tanzania for up to $16M is the correct decision for Scirocco. In essence, the cash call going forwards as part of the Ruvuma development plan amounts to $6.25 million, and the funding would be by an equity placing with an uncertain amount of dilution involved. Tom argues that life as a single asset E&P is tricky as there is still a geological risk attached to the Ruvuma project. If it fails, the company might fail to.
The Ruvuma deal is carefully structured so that the company benefits in cash from the up side as each positive step made as Ruvuma is developed. And if gas flows, the deal is worth almost $16M. Secondly, that Wentworth Resources is a good solid buyer to do business with, and means there is more chance of the deal being completed.
Tom makes the case carefully and clearly, and the interview is well worth watching. Please view here: https://youtu.be/_MHsmym59ME
London South East spoke to Shaun Bunn, MD at the AIM-listed gold/copper explorer Empire Metals and he gave us an operational update on Empire's four Australian assets, gold and gold/copper exploration, as well as the legacy Austrian assets.

Empire Metals recently raised 1.7 million pounds, which means, as Shaun Bunn says "The mining industry is booming and it's difficult to get exploration activities going. We have managed to overcome all that and we will be starting drilling on 16th June, targeting all of our high grade intercepts around Gindalbie and Eclipse, (to the West of Kalgoorlie). We look forward to starting the aeromatic surveys across the Pitfield licences, and then towards the end of the year we will be on the ground at Walton and at Stavely."
"We've got the resources now, we've got scale, we've got quality, we are well funded, we've got at least the next two years of exploration funding in the bank, we are going to put our heads down and get going" said Shaun.
As to what the strategy is, #EEE are hoping for a massive discovery, and "that discovery is what triggers all those possibilities. We're going to reduce the risk down to just an exploration risk. What we are dealing with is - are we good at what we do, have we got quality assets and can we fund the drilling programme, and the answer is yes, yes and yes."
