Until results day!
Nice post Redhammy, agree with you on your points. Just to add my thoughts..
From what I remember the last projected revenue figure I heard was around £16m or so. I'm pretty sure that came out before December and was based on the assumption that COVID sales would decline dramatically at the start of 2022.
From the Trustpilot Review breakdown and the other work everybody has been doing here recently, I am fairly confident in the assumption that MHC will generate at least £2m above the forecast (minimum £18m revenue).. perhaps even more.
It would appear the sales are starting to slow on the COVID side.. BUT.. the sales we are making are not negligible. They are still healthy revenue generators. And after the upcoming product line we had a sneak-peak of last week it reaffirmed my confidence in the company and it's future.
As long as there are no further delays and a flurry of news drops before or around the 7th (results date) then I do believe it's very obvious that MHC is fundamentally undervalued and probably has been for some months now.
Of course, I can only go on my opinion and projections so as always take everything with a grain of salt. But out of all my holdings at the moment, MHC is the one I having the most potential for material growth in the near future.
Just to help add some useful input to those calculations. The number of Trustpilot reviews for myhealthchecked.com in the month of May 2022 are now standing at 62.
I may have archives on my other laptop, If I have them I'll post them later on... :)
They have taken down the staging site! o_o
The site that I found those products on is what is known as a "staging site"... basically they're getting everything in place to go live. They obviously want the roll-out to be smooth as possible and that requires a lot of testing and fine tuning. You don't want to release a website without testing it only to find your customers can't order a product due to bugs etc.
I'm sure an RNS will come, I think the 28% rise on the back of (I guess) the stuff me & Smudge found is a good start :-)
I imagine that link is not supposed to be public, but their web devs have either accidentally or intentionally left it there for anybody to fall upon, I found it by just searching for "myhealthchecked glucose test" on google. For prosperity's sake this looks like the lineup that is due to be released imminently: https://twitter.com/CharlieUK98/status/1527423694922039296
Vitamins & minerals is something I am seriously (even as a non-investor) interested in. As someone with Crohn's and expecting jaw surgery soon that is something that I actively need to monitor.
I'd be interested to know if that £45 price tag is a placeholder or the actual product price. From what I remember in the last call Penny said they were aiming for £20-£30 for these tests.. £45 does seem a bit steep especially in the current climate.
Very exciting times ahead after an appalling couple of days.

You're right, he was on their about-us page as recently as March 21 2022

US has opened... red across the board! Even Chevron, BP & Shell are down and Oil is supposed to be the golden boy of this market!
I put some bets on this and MXC last year when we had the marijuana IPO hype.. definitely disappointing across the board. Thankfully I was quite conservative with my positions and was treating them each as not much more than bets.
Feel a lot for the people who invested significant capital into these companies. I still believe the industry has legs... not so sure about any of the companies anymore so won't comment on that. Perhaps it was just a horrible time for these guys to start their public journey.
Good luck all, hopefully, better times are around the corner.
Agreed. MHC has held up surprisingly well considering the catastrophic decimation of capital markets in the past couple of weeks (turmoil is an understatement IMO)
Recall to only a month or two ago when we were seeing ridiculous spreads of up to 25, 30%?! Why has this suddenly found stability with zero news flow, in fact, the only news flow we had was the sudden and unexpected departure of two executive directors yet MHC still had a rise in share price (albeit a very conservative rise).
I think once the news starts dripping here... be it starting with earnings or news on product launches or even the status of boots/lloyd contracts etc. the rest of it will flood soon afterwards.
The numbers on the Boots site have been consistent, especially considering I think many analysts thought PCR sales would go to virtually 0 when in reality we still seem to be selling - at the very least - double-digit numbers. Trustpilot reviews also continue to be consistent and mostly positive.
Good to see the board a bit more active here in the past couple of days :-) I hold strong in my belief in this company. I hope I'm right... and I can see why others are perhaps a bit more cautious here, I completely empathise with that. But Penny is a very headstrong CEO who has a mission... hopefully she is successful in that mission.
Prelim results are listed on their investor.myhealthchecked.com website as 7th June, maybe a bit more waiting sadly. MHC has held up pretty well compared to wider market in recent days/weeks. The spread has settled to what we were seeing throughout Q1.. hopefully small run-up as we get closer to results?
I have lots of faith in Penny. She is clearly very focused & determined to make MyHealthChecked a global brand. Investor comms could use a bit of work.. but with their limited team it's perhaps understandable (although I'd like to think they're not paying much for Walbrooks services!).
Someone on ADVFN put it quite well IMO.. Penny & the board are playing the results "very close to their chest". I think they're gonna be mega. Hopefully with a similarly awesome forward looking statement.. oh, and perhaps we'll finally see the general wellbeing tests being sold up and down the country :)
Anyone know the cause? My shot in the dark would be something bank holiday related that one of the algos didnt handle correctly?
Topped up a small bit today, constantly cost-£ averaging! Listened to the Mercia podcast yesterday.. very interesting. Wondering if the recent departures (CFO et al) didn't like being told they can't work from home anymore?
One other thing that crossed my head, isn't the Boots contract about to expire and move onto a monthly rolling one? Wondering what the status is now. Can't wait to hear what MHC has been doing throughout the silence.
I'm wondering if todays movements are being dragged down by the news at NCYT? I won't pretend I understand what is going on there, but I do know it's not looking great - it doesn't impact us in any way other than being same sector and tangentially similar business.
I will be topping up again tomorrow :)
To be fair this was in the silly oversold zone IMO, they've also announced a much better deal for a product that many here had their doubts about (I personally think the WH takeover is a game-changer, forget the brick & mortar stores. Brand, tech & experienced staff worth every single penny)
@Davand I completely agree with you regarding the Vegan, Alcohol, Caffeine tests. But I assume they're very low cost to produce and will be something, at the very least, to fill the shelves & get the brand more noticeable. You never know, the lefties may lap them up though
The Coeliac & Lactose tests have always been the ones in the lineup that peak my interest. I can see a real market for both of these and it sets MHC up to start making products for more serious diagnostics.
IBD has always been one area I've had in mind for MHC. As someone with Crohn's I definitely can see a gap for an at-home testing kit, not necessarily for diagnosing Crohns or other IBD, but for at least monitoring bowel inflammation levels via a 'fecal calprotectin' test. Currently these are only issued by hospitals (at least with the NHS) which require taking a physical stool sample into the pathology department, something which is both time consuming and for some people I can imagine could be seen as embarrassing. Results are barely ever given to you without having to chase it up multiple times. I'm sure people would happily pay £10-15 to have the convenience of doing this test at home and sending it to a lab and then having the results available on an app within 72 hours.
The stock has been making the right moves in the past month.. all in preparation for what should be a fantastic flow of great news :-)
