Second, apology accepted, I do actually totally get what you mean about the current culture of dredging up the past in order to 'cancel' people or at least poke fun at their old mistakes ... rest assured I would never have posted it, indeed I wouldn't have seen it, had it not been for him dredging his old tweets to find the original message and sharing it anew. We all make mistakes, me as much if not more than anyone, and I'm sure there are plenty of past tweets and posts of mine that won't pass the test of time a week later let alone nine years!

It is annoying, if I'm honest. They are the hyenas who come and feast on the carcass while the lions who actually trapped the thing get edged aside and have to wait a while longer to finish their meal.

The guy below just so brazen about coming in here to trade our share for entertainment while his own PF just sits there.... how would he feel if we crashed his preferred stock and started pumping and dumping and rubbing his nose in it afterwards. I do understand that like it or not it's part of the game, I do not understand why they keep doing it though. I think it must be mental fragility. They'll say they dip in and out to lock in some profit blah blah but I just see them as nervous people who haven't got the stomach for the ride and sell far too early time and time and time again.

If he'd held those shares instead of dumping them he'd likely treble his money in a week or two. Instead they settle for quick and dirty 10% here and there. A different breed to be sure. I'd say no offence to anyone here, but I'm not sure it's possible to not take offence to that, so I'll just say sorry haha

Has the past day taught us nothing? 35k to 28k to 32k..... that could easily be 30k again in an hour and the dark clouds of gloom swoop in again.... just enjoy the moment and by all means daydream... I'd just steer clear of assumptions personally... to assume makes an ass of u and me ;)

Let's try to remember that however had things felt 24 hours ago, they feel a lot better now. People will regret selling last night and this morning already. Learn from this. Not at all mate, I get it. But we are all on the same journey. Whether you're invested in Riot, Mara, Argo, a combination of them, we will all prosper from the increasing acceptance and familiarisation of crypto. So while I'm all in with Argo and don't foresee that changing, people that might not have the stomach for a firework like this might prefer a slightly toned down version which you might find in an etf.... slightly smoother jagged edges in a fund than in a stock which PW himself said last night 'lives or dies' by bitcoin.

Because, as the OP said, it makes crypto more mainstream... with the exposure to the fluctuations of ccryptocurrency it will generate more interest in the space and savvy investors will learn that a good way to get exposure (in some cases, including ours a magnified exposure imo) is to invest in the miners... There might be a time when the miners are included in such an etf too. There is zero downside to this possibility whatsoever, that I can see.

What you are essentially doing here is describing to us the strength and prevailing direction of the wind.... much like the wind, you can't read too much into it minute by minute.... that's why people tend to look at a forecast in advance rather than just watch a windsock, describing what it does. Feel free to save yourself and us a lot of time and energy and provide this service once a day if you must.

Hut8 who Peter mentioned last night (the ones with the old-school miners which are very inefficient) have just done a placing for £11.8m to spend on 5,400 new Whatsminer machines from MicroBT, the US knock-off version of bitmain.

Perry Hothi is worth a follow on twitter too.... he's basically suggesting lately that we're becoming more and more efficient and the new batch are going to be even moreso. More machines, mining more efficiently to generate something increasing in value, which we can now hold onto instead of selling..... that there is the recipe for exponential growth.
