With regards to btc the altcoins look to be starting to slow down which invariably means btc is about to move after a period of sideways movement (34-38k counts as sideways though I grant you it doesn’t always feel that way intraday!!!

Certainly keeps things simpler and means I don’t have anything to fret over TTD! Still wake up like a kid in winter though but instead of throwing open the curtains to see if it’s snowed overnight I’m checking to see if there’s been a $5k bitcoin pump ha!

I'm one of the fortunate ones that got in at 4.6p... I haven't sold a share yet either, though have averaged up a lot (including this week!). Obviously now I know I should have sliced at 1.40 and then could have increased my holding by a fair amount. Live and learn. I can already buy a new car or two, not far off the mortgage, but I am being greedy and feel very confident this will be a life-changer for me. The sleep I'm losing is about where to holiday first when the world is open again :)

Life's a bit shiite at the moment so it's nice to daydream about what life might look like if things fall into place

In all honestly, it's the thought of what happens if that all comes true that keeps me awake at night more than the thought of everything going to hell and crashing into the sea haha

It was 'only' an 8.5% dilution (in exchange for 56% rise in mining power of course) and it was announced on Monday morning so would surely have been priced in by now... we've dropped 20% from the opening price on Monday already, so I'd be very surprised (and dismayed) if it has another knock-on effect tomorrow morning. Double-jeopardy rule?

If it does drop tomorrow then why the 20% drop this week, especially as the sales volume has been dwarfed by buys?!

The image shows the projected figures but also suggests that the time frame is speeding up - so the next date, February 15, target of $45k, could be a couple of weeks earlier.... the target after that 3 or 4 weeks ahead of schedule, etc....

No worries. Those shares have already been bought too so we don't need to worry about them having a knock-on effect in the morning, which is a bonus!

I agree BP to the extent that it's a BTC option, however I think of Argo's hashrate as a magnifying glass to the BTC price.... someone else pointed out earlier that the swings are three times stronger in Argo. The stronger Argo becomes the more those will increase to frightening levels. So the dips will scare people but oh my sweet baby jesus imagine the rise to $150k in June/July............... ahhhhh.......

To me that incorrectly suggested 22.4m shares are being issued. There are actually 28m being issued, they just cost £22.4m...

It's not 22.4m that was the money... it's 28 million shares... and you do know none of those need to be sold? They have a home already. They will not flood the market.

Tell you another positive.... looks like US have recovered very well from a huge seller.... just before we closed they spiked down from $1.17 to $1.00 and looks like a load of neat 100k sells going through in the lead up - one at 4.02pm, 4.05pm, 4.08pm and 4.09pm our time. One of the posters reckons its an II selling out the final 1m of a 5m tranche in instalments, but the main positive is that they absolutely devoured that dip and were back to $1.13 in six minutes... now $1.19 having touched $1.25 a little earlier. Feeling pretty good about that all things considered....

They dropped from 1.17 to 1.00 in literally five minutes but back up to 1.13 a couple of minutes later.... stop losses triggered everywhere... now heading south again towards 1.05. Volatile. Buckle up, as the great man says!

In fairness it also hit $1.15 last Monday amid that bitcoin 28% drop too...
