I've been thinking about that phone box and the ski slopes, and now I understand why naked call options are not recommended.

I disagree but it doesn't mean I have no brain cells. This is an unpredictable mess from whichever way I look at it. US ground troops is, by all accounts, and extremely tricky operation. I don't really understand the ultra-confidence based on what has happened so far. There has been a lot of destruction but I'm not sure which goals have been honestly achieved as yet.

Just some random ramblings / thought process.

I've swapped my BRWM for some GGP today. They are both in the same sector and tend to move together, but I've justified this as:

GGP has fallen much further from its high;

BRWM has just gone ex-div (and it's payments are trivial) whereas GGP moving towards div payments anyway, maybe as soon as this year;

GGP resource announcement expected in March which hasn't long left, and;

I sold a similar tranche of GGP at 5.40 back in January, so feel this is a win....

The largest data center project currently under construction is the Joule Power campus in Millard County.

The Power Plan: Joule is building "behind-the-meter" power, meaning they aren't waiting for the electric grid. They are installing massive arrays of natural gas generators to provide up to 1 GW (1,000 MW) in Phase 1.

Joule has confirmed they are connecting directly to the Kern River mainline, a major natural gas pipeline that runs through Utah.

Paradox's Role: The Paradox Project's primary goal is to export gas into the existing regional infrastructure. Since Zephyr Energy’s wells (like the State 36-2R) are near Green River and tie into the regional export network, the gas they produce becomes part of the "pool" that feeds the Kern River line and, ultimately, the data centers' generators.

It is a comfort to me knowing that as many of my dividend yielding stocks (earmarked to re-invest) pay out across April & May, it can be confidently assumed that all that stock prices will be sky high again by then.....

23p of that fall is going in my pocket. Buying now is also good. It's a long game this, unless you're exceptionally good at trading.

Agree with Lee & Stu - unless you're a trader, I don't know what to do with this "gold to $4800" information. Do you mean I should sell GGP and buy back? That's trading. Many here are not traders, they're long term investors. If correct it may be an opportunity to add, rather than being scolded that "we were told". This is because the share price for many won't matter for years, and it's been going in the right direction since the Telfer acquisition. There has been very little to put me off investing here, the gold price has been a recent bonus, and Greatland are in great shape.
