Good to hear you are getting more miles in and stepping it up! I know I need to do the same and go for some longer walks. At least today I might not be washed away - mudslide closed the road to inveraray after the rain.

I'm thinking next week I'll start walking south to the local cafe to give the the benefit of the £10 mas/person on the eat out to help out scheme. It will make a far bigger difference to them than to the big chains.

That has been my view for some time - long before I joined this board.

My expectation is that current holders will be putting funds to secure OO shares, so I wasn't expecting much trading.

To me, that meant that the margins would go wider, not close like much bigger shares.

Anyone else noticed the margin is quite tight compared to the usual spread? 6.7 - 6.8

IG is 6.7 - 6.86 which is far tighter than I have ever seen.

Personally I think someone took the short too far and it is recovering.

Just checked and Credit suisse puts the price at 400, and Jeffreis puts it at 350.

Am I being daft - I don't get the connection between a fireworks explosion in the middle of a city and extracting and shipping oil.

Thank you for these, I already had some grand expectations as to the value down the line. I don't think I have learned enough to give an informed opinion at this point as to what the price "should be".

My son suggest Directors selling as a bellwether and there is only a single notice of that in the RNS (I think the two in April refer to the same Director). Should I be looking elsewhere for these?

Funds are now in place to take up the full complement of shares I've requested, should they be made available to me. I decided to be as safe as possible and use the earliest deadline I've seen which is today at noon (rather than the date next week). There is much I don't understand about the timetable.

Due to communication issues, I'm thinking of a possible move to another platform. Anyone with advice and views, please fee free to message me.

IG's Corporate Action Department's email indicates that 05/08/2020 12:00 PM GMT is the deadline to inform them of your intent to take up OO and any additional shares.

Their process indicates their users can confirm by phone or email.

I would put strong buy but as I'm asking for a chunk in the open offer, I'm not sure that would be seen to be an informed decision but rather a personal opinion based on the devastation cancer has to family, friends, and colleagues.

I'm sure it will be on All4 too.. And plan to seek it out this am. People who don't know as much as those of us who catch up here when we can, have been very positive.

Chester, IDK how big the demand for extra shares at 5.5 is. I've asked for a big chunk rather than buy in the market - one can still save 1p/share when I checked this morning.

Because others have posted they know how many extra they can take up I shall be on the phone again tomorrow.

I do not want to exit any investments for the possibility I could get all of my request without a guarantee of fulfilment.

Hello, I asked the same question, forgetting that it is an Open Offer and not a Rights issue when it was first announced.

I believe many holders that can are requesting additional shares in the open offer, but one holder said their platform didn't allow anyone. My platform has not indicated how many I might receive, and I've asked for clarification so that I can deposit sufficient funds - I was told the pay date was 12 August, but I received notice today that it is earlier.

Also, I believe read recently that those who bought in the placing may be able eligible to take up 4 for 51 and apply for extra shares at 5.5.

I agree that big Pharma is paying "top dollar" for things which seem to only be a fraction of Scancell's portfolio of products.
