I remember the very important Pancreatic research being done and seeing a video which if I recall correctly indicated that, at that time Scancell has the only researcher in the UK doing any research. I might be mis-remembering the numbers, but it was before I invested in 2016.

It's good to see 5 year survival rates hit 5-8% (rather than still being stuck at 3%)...

I know nothing about this company, I was just looking and hope this, from other shares helps.

I know from other boards that many clinical trials have been paused, or not started as a result of the pandemic. I'm not sure how that fits into the fiduciary duties, but some scaled back to conserve capital.

I recall reading early 2020 that water readings were being used as early covid19 spike indicators. Until then, I was only worried that there may not be enough chemicals to treat water... I will check through these details.

In case anyone is interested, IG have awarded 21.38% of the additional shares requested.

After a lengthy call (most of it on hold), I've been told by the helpdesk that both the 4 for 51 and any excess shares should be allocated to all holders by the end of today.

No word on when excess funds (if any) would be made available. [I said I would be calling back on Thursday if funds were still outstanding.]

I hope you have taken screen shots of your account(s) to show your situation should the need arise.

Key learning - do not write to their corporate actions team, write the helpdesk.

Are other unique features of their livelihood:
1. that they are not likely to encounter CV19 on a daily basis, provided none of their ship mates has already...
and more importantly, 2. that they work in a far less polluted, MORE O2 enriched environment (over 50% of O2 comes from the sea)

no worries... This is not like trying to do VAT calculations by dividing by 1.2%, I do not have a clue how he got his numbers to add up.

Eg he asked for xxxxxx extra shares, he got a % of the total. Seems straight forward to me.

In, you asked why... Because the sum of these is MORE than 100... (60 and 40 = 100)

I'm not sure whether there is any "synergy" with your the previous holding and the awarded %...

I can't see anyone in Nottingham on the list of CRUK researchers (again, I can't see how current the page is). Hoping this is covered in the 27 August session.

I'm not showing any change from 5 August. I asked IG last week about their timelines.

I've now asked the registrar, if it is possible, to get their view of the timelines.

I will be happy with whatever extra shares I have. For me, there was no way but to make the extra funds available from elsewhere. I really need to know when the cash will be refunded as I was going to use the excess to fund another investment and that deadline is approaching fast.

But it looks like Barclays are taking the lead on where to move! I need to check out a few other factors.

IDK if you have checked your GG allowance, but you can also claim £12.k in capital gains with no tax liability. Then up to the upper earnings band, it is only 10%.
