Bill, I think that Zakari means sugar, so the thinking a couple of weeks ago was that the "sugar" tech portions may very well undertake partnerships, raise money, as the CTs prove their worthiness.

My personal view is that this is unrelated to entry to the NASDAQ.

It is however, a way for them to raise funds without either triggering a takeover or diluting Red Mile's investment in Scancell. I haven't looked at Redmile's investment portfolio over time to see if any of the other investments did similar things.

C7, I think the message is clear for the vulnerable. We will need to do what we can to stay as safe as we choose to be, and at least we here understand the risks

I am going to assume the virus is also airborne and stay upwind of as many people as possible outside.

I am not sure that the Gov is thinking about booster jabs yet. Scotland has asked the public to do 2 LFTs per week, so hopefully any hot spots can be caught earlier and avoid the tremendous scale of infections (eg North East, etc).

Perhaps Modern a have concluded the cost of developing a universal Covid vaccine won't produce the payouts they want as it is a very competitive market .

I read the AZ page and the medical licence indicated 4 weeks. Obviously the 8 week plus decision by the Gov was to help get as many people through a first jab. The Dr today was quite thorough, asked about whether I had blood clots, etc.

So in 3 weeks , I will feel safer about venturing to see my son on the east coast.

Thanks for all the views. Although Scotland has asked for continual testing, because there is such a low incidence rate in the glen, I had not asked for any to be sent (lthink this is case 4 in total)

And I had great news whilst on town that I get my 2nd jab tomorrow - so about 4 weeks after the first (AZ).

Thanks for the responses. My personal experience is that that gag reflex when touching your tonsils/where they used to be 4 times on each side makes it hard to NOT touch the tongue, gums, cheeks, teeth, etc. Inserting it into a nostril sufficiently and rotating contact 10 rounds was also quite mind blowing. I will persevere.

As for 2nd gen universal covid vaccine - I agree whole heartedly that we need to get everyone vaccinated. I've heard that asymptomatic vaccinated can pass on variants to other vaccinated - eventually they will reach unvaccinated. [and again I will comment that the savings in medical waste and human resources by using needle-less options will be phenomenal - particularly if we will need this booster every year, bi-annually, or at worst case one hopes, semi-annually]

Looking for views, advice, etc.

I've had to do my first one today, having ordered the 7 day testing kit on Saturday evening. Test result came back negative - I'm hoping for a continuation of that.

To me, Burble's and many other's contributions is the difference that this board makes to those trying to understand where to invest and without the PhD in the relevant field.

Wasn't that the original intention? (eg not updated properly)... I got the impression that the CT was focused on the two needleless options, but it is unclear.

The funding allocations seem to be far less for the other two organisations that I remember from the Innovate award which included the electroplating.

C7, I didn't say it was a GOOD day, but my recollection is that Scancell have issued them on Fridays. So I was expecting news RNSs on the last two Thursdays and Fridays of June just gone.

In full agreement that cancer vaccines are the most valuable part of Scancell's technology.

In my humble opinion, even though currently 1 in 2 will get some form of cancer, the amount of money to be saved on the historic costly treatments means that their unique solutions will be high in demand - without the Government price ceilings for annual jabs and without many competitors with "just as effective" cancer vaccines.

Was their CT now deemed successful? I'm sure I read that it failed to hit 50% efficacy.

For me, covidity is just icing on the cake of Scancell's stable of cancer vaccines. With 1 in 2 people expected to get some form of cancer, the sooner the other clinical trials start, the better. Obviously these are contingent on the UK NHS having capacity to run them, something they have not been able to do as we have not contained the virus and variants.

I'm just curious. Is there anyway to guesstimate the reach of the Scancell page of this BB? Eg can you see how many unique impressions there are for conversations/day?
