Just to be clear, someone else raised the issue of PI representation on the BOD.

My take is that would be an NED, and would have a fixed term.

I think Calculus are still a major shareholder.

I don't know how many have holdings of say 200k plus, but I want to repeat that if there are enough shares between us, it might be worth considering asking for an elected NED to represent us.

To be fair, I think k virtually all s/h feel the same, except perhaps ORPH who knows the power of telling s/h what to expect every 6 weeks or so.

I agree that there are certain things that should be national security considerations. Me, I'd include NOT killing off over 1,000 front line health workers, as well as delaying the miserly 3 year old pay raise to nurses.

There may be things which have injunctions, and there may need to be a secure private forum for communications and discussions, but these things are not impossible.

Fair point. I opted to have a jab yesterday, simply because the likelihood of being exposed to the more contagious English or Indian variants grows daily.

I guess one option would be to vaccinate people from an island nation which had effective containment policies and then fly them around in planes with contagious positives. That would speed up exposure measurements. I am not sure what each particpant tnt would charge, but it would be worth it.

I have found from time to time I need to refresh the page. Note LSE is not real-time if you are not a Premium member. IG also tend to have wider margins on SOME shares, etc.

I also think that the makers of lhe "less effective" vaccines may do deals so that theirs can be given away in Foreign Aid. The EU is doing a great job of exporting and donating so that we are all safe sooner.

The decision to waive patents is a political one and affects the perception of biotech assets. However, this is only for covid 19 vaccines, and not all patents.

Market makers wanting to shake out weak holders will do their best to get shares on the cheap knowing most of them are in the process of developing 2nd Gen vaccines which presumably would not be included.
