RE: An interesting CEPI tweet thread29 Jun 2021 15:22
There's an interesting daft lassie question tagged onto the answer as to why CEPI can't give Inovio any funding, including Bermuda's Tweet of the preprint (which I believe Scancell retweeted)..
Just back in the glen and it is time to almost time to take the dog for a swim. Hope all are enjoying the splendid weather - thank goodness the kids are out of school to enjoy it.
Researchers at Oxford University said on Thursday they have developed a method to predict the efficacy of new COVID-19 vaccines based on a blood test, potentially offering a short-cut around massive clinical trials that are increasingly difficult to conduct.
TF, thanks for posting this. I had been wondering whether there would be a. Large scale phase 3 trial if P1&2 probed the science.
By the time it comes to market, those initially protected may be losing their immunity, and Scancell could be on the perfect storm as we head into winter
For me Tuesdays news was stupendous. The fact that the market and the health journos don't get it yet just means that whatever spare cash u have can go into to buying more, albeit almost double my average cost.
My assumption is that any NED buy means that further news is a month out. I am not sure whether the 2+ company approach means that the parent is more or less of a takeover target, but I would have thought the 2 for 1 argument makes it a no trainer.
Semiversary from the presentation, but the earliest dates Holloway gave were "H1", so they have a couple more weeks. He did say the cancer trials were dependent on the NHS having the bandwidth and permission to run them.
It would be great to see another shareholder presentation scheduled - even if their H1s have turned to Q3s and Q4s.
Weather is gorgeous here too - the pup had a swimming lesson in the sea this morning - just the thing to cool her off after chasing balls and frisbees. Walk number 3 today looms, right after a cuppa.
I am particularly interested in having shareholder value maximised..
ATB all. Back from a wet and windy walk on which the pup explored the waves crashing along the sea wall. She's sleeping contentedly now having had some dinner. Must be time for a wee dram somewhere.
Don't think there is any need to ramp. Several said early on that the cash would be attractive. If the CTS are underway, having an experience sector M&A specialist on board will help ensure shareholder value is maximised.
