Isfdo it's probably admin. Otherwise if it had changed to Director with Durrant as CEO, something else - many possibilities.

I'm pretty they will leave Zakari on the books as a fundraising/ partnership vehicle.

Frankly I'm more concerned about a Redmile takeover ahead of CT results.

Understand, I am just taking the stance that there are billions who are scared of needles who won't get that nasal or perhaps even sublingual delivery is at least if not more effective.

In the light of the hepatitis in children study (perhaps isolated to India) released earlier this week, anything which minimises transfer of complications is a good thing.

A blood marker predicts who gets ‘breakthrough’ COVID

People fully vaccinated against COVID-19 are less likely to become infected with the coronavirus if they have relatively high levels of virus-blocking antibodies, according to a study of thousands of health-care workers who received the Pfizer–BioNTech jab1.

The analysis adds to a growing body of evidence that a person’s levels of ‘neutralizing’ antibodies, which block SARS-CoV-2 from infecting cells, predict whether that person will become infected.

A robust predictive marker, known as a correlate of protection, could help regulators to approve new vaccines without requiring large clinical trials. It could also help them to assess the need for booster shots to guard against emerging viral variants. The study “is an important step in further validating the use of neutralization titre as a correlate of protection”, says Miles Davenport, an immunologist at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia.

That's the most important bit for us I think. It would be great if Scancell could avoid the heavy overhead of costs to run yet another massive trial.

I saw that in a group on another platform. I believe Scancell are targeting CD8 T-cell responses. I wasn't sure if how it might apply.
And of course when I had time to log on, there was a different discussion going on altogether.

Agree, however I can't help but wonder about the timing of the OXT presentation and the RNS. Perhaps he fell on his sword.

I asked earlier about the OXT presentation, but didn't hear anyone say they attended.
I had a quick look on the other BB, but can't find any reference to them. Lots of other speculation though.

Bermuda, the only reason I brought up Zakari Therapeutics in the first place is that it is not mentioned at all in the RNS and Cliff is currently listed as CEO of that too.

I still have not heard from anyone how Scancell's presentation went at the OXT AGM yesterday... and whether that was an influence on today's news. Which has not been tweeted.

Ivy: Tend to agree with your assessment right now. I had hoped that Redmile might provide contacts for those essential commerical deals.

Re shareholder comms - fully agree that it is overdue by a month. I'm sure the teams are very busy, but if they can present to OXT, they can run a similar but different presentation elsewhere too for the PIs.

RNS doesn't mention ZAKARI THERAPEUTICS LIMITED of which Holloway was CEO as well. Chiplin is also Director in it.

Cliff is an excellent speaker. That will be a great loss for me.
