Modi-2 article popped up on my usual search, so including here in case it tis a repeat - it says Scancell updated the market on Tuesday - but I don't remember a market update last week. Did I miss something?

Re covidity CT partners - Cliff made it very clear in the last update that they would need partners, so it's a reiteration. I'm sure someone has a plan for that, but as it may be too early to line up the suitors, best to keep negotiating points in a closed hand.

Glad to see the recovery of the divi happened quickly this morning. Wondering whether those that missed out on the divi will twig that they could have bought at lower price yesterday and collected the £0.044 per share too.

I think the world is preparing to give booster jabs until we actually create a break globally. I believe Moderna have already turned to producing a flu + covid vaccine.

Yes, you need to buy today to get the divi.

Any shares bought tomorrow don't get the divi.

I think it will sink from mid afternoon, just like it has done before. This is what I meant when some said they sold at a high earlier on the penultimate day before XD to buy even more before the close at a much lower price and collect the divi to boot.

It may depend on how much BP buys today too. To them, buy backs today save paying out divis, so I imagine they are less price sensitive.

I hate that this is happening, but I think your result is correct. Certainly food for thought.

Concerns off the top of my head (no way complete):
- public patents of the effective covid vaccines erode profitability
- early takeover (at least 2 scenarios, covidity is killed in favour of their more profitable offerings, or very low price considering the tech already developed)
- current covid mutates to become as lethal as others, so "we win", but % wise many more do not
- the anti-vaxxers will never accept the need - just like there are still those who refuse to wear seatbelts

Someone sold 1/2 Million too, so hopefully that clears out some of the burn.

Now is we could get some good PR going ahead of the CT results. Speaking of which, does anyone here know how to sign up for the UK Part 1 CT = eg the booster jabs?

According to the LSE (the real LSE) - volume today is 20,924,962 - that's not the highest day, but it is amongst the highest.

So on balance, unless one of the big Reddit groups weighs in, I don't think there would be a shortage.

Fairy, No worries, I used to hold a lot of different shares. Now I have my income and my strategic CG bag shares.

Today, I am taking a punt on a spread bet on the BP. divi - as the total cost to purchase actual shares meant I had to make up £180 in fees on an investment amount last week.

FYI: I'm far more watchful of crypto than shares as I'm hoping it will help me whether currency volatilities in the future. ATB.

Fairy, Don't get me wrong, I'd love for the shares to top today and early tomorrow, sell and then buy back before the close so I could collect the divi too with more shares to cushion the automatic drop on Thursday. Others have done that, but I haven't been able to master that trick - yet.

My thinking is that once universal covid vaccines are available that the world will will be full renewables/electric ahead where practicable. Whether BP's green strategy can stand head and shoulders above the green washing controversy will be interesting to watch.

It has been a good day today. Scancell's SP is steady even with the sales. It appears the 2nd 200k buy last week as not Vulpes, but someone who doesn't need to issue an RNS.
