Well I hope it is us, and quite selfishly, I hope it happens after 6th April so I can get more shares into my ISA...

I'm looking forward to updates by 30 June (eg end H1)

In the meantime, plenty to do. Buy the dips, Bed & ISA / ISA top up in the new tax year, and of course file for any Tax Refunds due to buy more.

For me, this bodes well for a firm looking to create a world class universal covid vaccine. As I've said before, I'm a strong HOLD, but should anyone elect to sell, I'll pick up a few when dividends come through.

I posted that Pfizer are looking at a pill form a few days ago. For mass distribution eveey viable option is being explored I'm sure.

Nom, Thanks for this. Two close family members have had brain tumours, and I think 1 had this type. Current treatment is expensive, invasive, and in both these cases unexpected complications arose.

Anything which can help prevent brain tumours (as well as any other type of cancer) is welcomed by me.

Thank you for reinforcing that - as you may have read, I'm also concerned that even the delay between doses could cause that to happen.

Even with both doses, Han**** mentioned that the UK was only 85% effective at preventing death.

To all, Does anyone know how many other projects there are looking at targeting 2 proteins to create a universal covid vaccine? I struggle to believe that Scancell is the only one to approach this, but I certainly hope we are ahead of any others.

So Roses, I am not being negative. I've merely been pointing out the official valuation of the share at present. That tweet is easy to find on Twitter, and the "photo" looks like it is a scientific paper, but as I said it didn't have a link. I've responded with Scancell's page on their project.

As everyone knows, I'm firmly a member of team ramp, though I'm hoping that the price doesn't run away before we hit real news - in my view that will only attract the attention of the pump and dump crowds. As for my holding, I have posted when I bought back, so my holding is just a bit south of 1m, though my average cost is 3 to 4p higher than it was. I'm hoping to move most of them into my ISA over the next couple of years.

C7, the inference from the tweeter is that they are selling their Scancell shares they have because they read something which shows that "S+N Based Vaccines cause an over reaction and pneumonia" - at least in mice.

IDK what they they read as they didn't provide a link. Obviously, many would have a concern if a vaccine gave you pneumonia - particularly those whose autoimmune systems are already compromised.

FYI: There have been a couple of tweets in the past few days, including one aim investor type saying they are out. With the Brazillian variant spreading further, it's no surprise to me that new investors will take a punt on Scancell's project.

I hope that this finally spurs the Government to investing in universal covid vaccines in a much bigger way.

There was nothing marked Q1 2021... It was all H1 - check the presentation - it is either slide 19 or near there if I recall correctly

I've seen a few Govts interested in jab-less vaccines, and this is an "oral antiviral drug for Covid-19"

H1 newsflow has been published - that means by end June, not end March....

As noted elsewhere, having alternatives to jabs is a key priority to enable rapid distribution to the Billions who are not in one of the protected groups.

This gives me hope that there could be several projects of this type coming through. though I don't know what it means for Scancell's Covidity project.
