Demerger update

EVRAZ announces today that it suspends the process of the demerger of its coal assets consolidated under PJSC Raspadskaya (the "Demerger") indefinitely as the Company anticipates clarification regarding regulatory restrictions, both from the Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI), HM Treasury, following the Financial Sanctions Notice issued on March 10th, 2022 and from the Russian authorities on the shareholder rights to dispose of the shares received as part of the demerger process.

FCA wanted clarity, they have clarity. Changed RA password on his share app and away you go. He is sanctioned not the company or the other investors.

19:1 seems to be the set ratio, but also seen the £15m figure mentioned a few times so the 19:1 ration will equate to £15m regardless. That’s how I have interpreted it anyway.

What everyone needs to do now is wait for it to get to 0.2p and take their full allocation of shares for the company to start again. The FCA will want to see detailed plans and if they ok it then we should be fine. Additionally the company have not said what the 19-1 placing price will be so with any luck it is cheap, probably why they have done this now in such uncertain times in the first instance.
