I reckon a compromise is being worked with the fca. Easing some of the restrictions, to allow a better SOA package. It’s what I would have done. Low ball first SOA. If it goes through great- but where the fca have now come to the table wanting more they need to give a little. Blood from a stone does not work.

I hear a lot of about Amigo negotiating SOA 2.0 with the FCA…. Instead I hope they are negotiating easement of Vreq’s and restrictions. Give us something to work with ffs fca. Then we are in a position to offer something decent and sustainable for claimants. Part of me hopes that Gary went through SOA1 to demonstrate that you have us by the balls and this is what we can offer… ease off a bit and we can give and do more….

The results will be fine- it’s the forward looking statements that could hurt for the benefit of SOA 2.0. With this committee, inviting people to apply before the 27th July, I would hope that we have some options for the committee to discuss over the 4 week period. Here are the three or 4 options. Go and discuss, then let us know which one best suits creditors. News on this has to be close. Will it be intertwined with the results? Who can say. But I would hope the FCA appreciate this and then don’t challenge the 2nd SOA

They are paying down the waiver with excess cash by about £12m a month if I’m not mistaken. So after the 24th sept they will be generating £12m a month profit so on top of the £150mil allocated for complaints, it’s a bit of a joke we are even in this position. It who blinks first with the fca currently

Means we are protected to a point. I find it interesting that nothing about a potential SOA2 has been updated to the market. Financials next week could be decent though. I would hope that we hear something about the route forward sooner rather than later.

You are missing the fact that the vote carried no baring with the fca or the judge. It was a total waste of time.

Taking 5 weeks I would hope that we do not have to go to another vote. 95% approved the previous vote and if there is an amendment that works out better for creditors I cannot see the benefit personally. Additionally the fca said that the vote was a waste of time in court as the voters were stupid. The judge also took no consideration to a 95% majority so is there actually any point????

Sounds good but the fca aren’t there to negotiate. They are there to guide… then they are there to turn around and stab the company in the back the week before court.

Two months wasted nearly with no updates.it tests the patience of anyone holding.

Is that the only real delay that is being truly felt is with the creditors that need the money. Fca need to not drag their hills in any of the SOA schemes.

Yet the share price has gone up today but 3% benefitting shareholders. The fca are a total joke and with that wording I wouldn’t trust them at all. Very similar to amigo and they will probably change tact at the 9th hour again.

Insolvency has been avoided and now everyone holding is looking for a similar run to previous. I can’t blame the board for taking its time on this one, especially when the share price was scrutinised in court. Interesting 2 weeks ahead with financials too.

Must be the month where we get something constructive. To get amigo out of this rut and looking forward to the future.

I would take a premium placing if the fca were happy and the company can move forward

No- you lose all your money abs the claimants have a more aggressive collection agent chasing. Their debt won’t just vanish. Shareholder money will though.
