be, announce a deal to fca, they say yes, we won’t challenge, or we won’t challenge as long as you follow x, y, z processes.

Get independent legal counsel to represent claimants. Then suggest this new improved package and claimants, with the caveat that they speak to legal counsel.

Ultimately I would hope that at a hearing any judge in the world would go, the worse deal had 95% yes vote, you don’t need a vote on an improved deal. But just make sure that we are bullet proof with the option of speaking to independent legal advice, not that they will.

Or if it has to go to the vote again. Option 1 or option 2 or NO. Not this option or insolvency. I also think this would encourage a bigger uptake.

There is another option where we may not need SOA with the permission of the FCA and we settle the claims over a period of years. But then we have to be investigating every claim and being really regimented. But that’s a long shot

Totally agree. This needs to be sorted first. The fca need to categorically say they won’t challenge and are happy. Then we can move forward.

So in an ideal world, the company will get 5 years to access and sort out the complaints. Giving 50% to claimants from say 15/20% of company profit. If it is over a prolonged period of time you would hope they can then spend the time really getting in the ribs of who has truly been missold in comparison to those having a go.

we need to know what the FCA will support. They cannot challenge an appeal. But in all honesty I don't think an appeal is there to not appeal and just change the terms of the deal. But with the road map set out by the judge now, a nice share buy back to stick in the pot would go down very well imo.....

With the price movement the share price can clearly hit 40p on this and then higher on amigo 2.0 I know a lot of shareholders who would give you 5% of their holding of not 10% of their holding to get out of this ****. Alternatively with £140mil in the bank and the share price at 8p you could get a 10% buy back away at £45mil Would that not give the fca their ounce of flesh?
