Parent company XTR to which the MktCap and SP relate is loss making. Its subsidy Explorator just about breaks even. The way the deals that Explorator currently have are structured will not move XTR SP. Bird has given figures that relate to Explorator to raise funds through XTR which shareholders have not so far benefitted from. This is the reality. Bird will keep this going by promise of jam tomorrow (Zimbabwe ?) leading to further fund raises in my opinion. The Moz debacle should have been a massive warning to the way he choses to operate but his smoke and mirrors spin seemed so compelling. It is no wonder that he demanded Joel Silberstein play a role as he did a similar smoke and mirrors job with forecasts at Chepica. At least it all makes watching what will happen next interesting.

pie314... too early to say if the alluvials will provide any more to XTR. Even with production increasing the deals are structured such that we (XTR not Explorator) are hardly profitable. Unless Bird can do a deal for hard rock that will benefit XTR shareholders (ie XTR to be profitable) then increasing gold production on paper may not benefit us. Just my opinion.

Many are stuck here... some still find it difficult to accept what has happened though. They tend to be the ones who feel qualified to lecture those that have accepted it.

It never ceases to amaze me that despite being regularly told by the CB fans on here that this is a bargain (at much higher SPs too) I don't see much evidence of the buys that would surely be happening if it were true. It seems some on here are not as convinced as their posting history would indicate. hmmmm

Just when we think the worse might be over. The deep mistrust Bird has caused may well not be regained hence we may never see shareholder value with Bird at the helm :-(

Is this the previous excellent awaited news that we are all going to be over the moon with or is this new news that we can look forward to awaiting ?

JDAU... Understanding the wording of the partnership doesn't mean its a good partnership for XTR shareholders does it. You chose not to give me your take on the whether or not you think the Moz deal was in the best interests of shareholders particularly CBs declaration that the 400k came out of operation cash flow. I would value your take on it but understand if you would rather not.

Sino are our contributing partners. Sino are removing the alluvials. Nexus/MTI are not contributing anything near enough to warrant their take. I get that you are a fan of CB but to give credit for certain deals that benefits others more than shareholders is quite baffling. I don't see how having Nexus/MTI taking a greater cut than ourselves is a bonus... the floundering SP is proof that neither does the market. it is bizarre deals like handing over 400k to Moz that have meant we were unable to pay off Nexus/MTI. With regards to taking less risk for XTR, maybe you could explain how you see the Moz fiasco having been of benefit to XTR shareholders ?

Its not so much the contractor terms that are hurting us but the cut Nexus (MTI) have been given. We would have been free from them under the original deal that would have let them have the first $1m. The sluggish production over the last year added to the $400k that Bird saw fit to hand over to Moz would have seen us in a far better position going forward having paid Nexus (MTI) off. It seems Bird is somehow unable to keep himself from using our money to benefit others. Maybe he sat in on the Jan Nelson seminar of how to transfer funds away from shareholders to worthless copper dump owners. The bizarre way in which Nexus (MTI) continue to drain any modest profit away from shareholders hereis effectively no better than loan repayments to Yorkville yet CB fans continue to say we are debt free. In name only.

18kg gold a month generates $600k a month near enough. Our cut is less than the $84k we need to break even. That makes over £500k a month generated that we don't get to bank. As Andrew states we need 25kg of gold a month to lift our cut to the $84k break even. That 25kg would generate approx $800k a month or over $700k that we don't get to bank. The SP fully reflects our slice of cake that CB has dealt us.

pie314... the 15-20% is whatever CB meant by it... I have given up trying to work out what it means to XTR SP as up to now whatever he says hasn't translated well into shareholder value.

CB has told us to expect circa 15-20% cut of FB. Yes maybe 100% of FB may be worth 4.4p a share but its very difficult to allocate part benefits to XTR SP. many LTHs invested in the Manica potential but under CB we are not going to get anywhere near the lions share unfortunately.

For the avoidance of any doubt I was referring to the news that some posters on here referred to following a chat with CB recently... not the news update referred to in the last RNS.

Ok... June has come and gone. Were we expecting news or has that can been kicked further up the road (again) ? Are Omnia still on board with some of their HR ? Where are we with FB talks ? It seems no sooner CB promises some news on something or other it doesn't happen due to something else happening.
