Explorator or XTR ?28 Sep 2018 14:27
Its like saying my household is cash flow positive if I ignore my mortgage payments. After Nexus take their cut as per the deal done with Bird, then XTR is still losing money. It is irrelevant to XTR shareholders that Explorator may possibly be cash flow positive. XTR is losing money. Wasn't the new alluvial mining deal supposed to be announced no later than August ? As some have pointed out, talk isn't going to stop XTR running out of money around end of 2018. Still not impressed but still waiting patiently for Bird to deliver shareholder value. The concern I have is that the hard rock is not as straight forward as we were originally led to believe. The varying mineralisation it seems may be making a deal difficult to reach with operators who don't have suitable plant. Maybe this is why Manica has not been successfully worked on the large scale we need over many years in different licence holder hands (PAF, Auroch). The available plant that for example Omnia have doesn't seem suitable to make going at the hard rock profitable. The fact that the alluvials also seem to have the wrong sort of gold or the correct gold too deep only compounds our problem as we were hoping to use some alluvial revenue to enable us to attack the hard rock. Not looking good any time soon tbh.
