Bird just cant seem to resist can he. We (XTR that is... before the usual Explorator confusion sets in) have not made a profit from his dealings which seem to revolve around sending cash away from XTR shareholders. No doubt somebody is set to benefit from this latest transfer of funds away from our bank account.

Chepica Mk2.... just so long as its not been announced to deflect away problems with Omnia.

Omnia wcould hardly be referred to as "potential partners" unless nothing has been agreed with them. This is at odds woth previous guidance from Bird. Nothing seems to have changed regarding Bird being evasive at best when it comes to letting us know what is going on. This does seem to rather feel a bit like the Moz episode. We put 2 + 2 together some time before Bird could no longer hide that Moz had walked off with our cash. I believe we have already paid for the drilling and assessment work that was to lead us into partnering Omnia on the non FB hard rock occurances. What exactly have we paid for that will benefit XTR shareholders. The 400k money handed over to Moz hardly benefitted us. Is this going to be any different ? I dont trust Bird.

Did that "excellent news in a few weeks" ever materialise ? Wasn't that promise following a "meeting" between Bird and some shareholders following a presentation last year. Sorry CaptainBob… you have no idea whether or not Bird will deliver anything. You believed what he told you about the excellent news.. it didn't come though did it.

I thought we were past the talking stage and were partnering with Omnia ? Like others have said, have Omnia gone the way of Moz ? I just dont feel I can trust Bird. Others opn here are happy to heap praise on Bird for him saying what will happen. But it doesn't seem to ever happen. I have lost count of all the professional operators who want to partner us in Manica yet Bird managed to choose Moz. What happened to the new alluvial contractors to be sorted last August ? What happened to the 6 or 7 plants working the alluvials ? Now we are told Sino are bringing a second plant in. Second plant... not fith or sixth.. second. Bird is all talk and no action. We need meaningful updates on the previous promises but priority must be to inform us if Omnia have decided to do a Moz.

The unsold gold is neither here or there tbh. The fact that it seems relevant is only because the income to XTR has been quite frankly diabolical compared with what Bird originally lead us to believe we would be getting. Sino now having all the alluvials is hardly a "new" additional contractor either. Bird implied he was talking to somebody different. Its all talk and new plan this and new deal the other with Bird. We are discussing the unsold gold because the modest difference in revenue it makes is a big chunk of the paltry reality. Why is Bird keeping back the gold ? To avoid us making a profit ? To enable smoke and mirrors for his next big time Charlie deal ? Wasn't the Omnia HR plant supposed to be ready to go before xmas ? Wasn't HR operations to have started this Q1 ? Where are the meaningful updates ? Birds deals are like trying to do icing on a non existing cake.

Not sure about a dream… this is more like a nightmare. Well done to those who got in around the lows and sold above 1p. Once again its all hope and new deals with Bird but very little profitable reality.

The more I have thought about this the more I am starting to think that announcing the new alluvial deal with sino or huffing whatever they are now called was a face saver from Bird. Sino could have upped the throughput on their half of the concession that they already were working but didn't. Bird announces they have now been granted the other half. Im not sure the gold production will improve that much. They could have introduced more plants on the half they had been working but didn't. Its like showing a kid a sweet shop and saying they can eat all they want from the shop. Then saying there are now two shops. They wont eat more. Sino could have increased production on the half they had been working but didn't.Im not talking about marginal improvements before JDAU "corrects" me but im talking meaningful increases that would benefit XTR. Todays drop in SP just shows the market still has no faith in what Bird is actually doing which is different to what he says he will do.

JDAU... I hope you are right that it is fairbride but that is only your assumption. The RNS says Manica. It doesn't say Fairbride. Why didn't Bird add in the RNS that the Omnia collaboration is on track. This is the problem with Bird.. his guidance can be interpreted differently. BTW... shareholder concerns are not nonsense. Bird didn't tell us that Moz had buggered off with our money did he until a few months had passed so I question whether or not he would come clean about Omnia if there were difficulties.

Does this mean the Omnia collaboration is now not happening or what ? This is the problem with Bird... he implies things have been further along than they actually are. Just when we are led to believe things are actually going to happen he releases a statement which puts us several steps backward. Wasn't the Omnia plant supposed to be ready in for HR back in November and Q1 going to be the start of HR operations ? Now it seems we are "talking" again. Its all words and implied progress with Bird.

Q4 results show that the revised deal was rather insignificant to XTR profitability. The party popping by some does rather seem a little premature now doesn't it.

It is always a worry that where our money is concerned Bird will have a brain fart. Lets hope he does read these boards and fully understands the depth of concern many...not all JDAU... not all ;-) … shareholders have had over some of what has happened. The recent SP rise has given back some hope but there is no room for any perception of dealings that are not in the interests of current shareholders. Lets hope the Q4 figures support the recent SP rise and we can at last move on to a wealthier future.

Maybe there is light at last... lets all hope Bird now behaves himself and refrains from giving our money away. Fingers crossed there will be better times ahead.

Andrew... yes I was wrong and your figure of approx 6000oz for the 12 months is what it is. I used the Explorator portion in error and not the total production amount. Apologies for that.

Andrew... I will check. It does look better with the total production figure you suggest.

Andrew I agree that based on production over the last 12months Sino have not been recovering any where near 0.5g/ton.
total production of 1495oz is just over 46,000g. At 0.5g/t recovery that is approx. 93,000 tons for the year. If 7 day working that is approx. 255 tons for the day. Either the recovery rate is nearer 0.1g/t or our gold is going walkies.

I wonder what will happen to the idle ex Moz plant now that it looks like Sino will be the only alluvial contractor. Bird did say he was hoping a new contractor would be able to utilise it. Maybe we should take a stake in Sino.... Im walking slowly backwards out of the room now ;-)

One of the concerns with Bird is that he wont hesitate to dilute if it means keeping the merry-go-round turning. Shareholder value will not be his prime concern if he sees an opportunity for getting another placement away. Its whether or not he feels that he will get away with more jam tomorrow.

The value of stored gold will not repair the damage done by Moz walking away with our 400k but its better than nothing.
