My mistake I hold my hands up lol yes we paid 12m to Auroch for Manica not the 18m I earlier said. The truth is we paid 12m to Auroch wh paid 1m for it. A transfer of XTR shareholder funds away from shareholders which has become a pattern for XTR under Bird. Concordia... Moz... JDAU desperately trying to defend daylight robbery but wont answer any questions about those dealings. Hmmmm aye nuff said ;-)
Auroch only paid 1m for Manica. Our board in their pursuit of shareholder value saw fit to pay them 18m a short while later. It might have been a snip at 1m. Auroch must have been laughing all the way to the bank. The SP is moving evr more downwards to maybe reflect a more reasonable valuation for Manica. We have all been well and truly done here.
Im hoping in a way that Bird does the inevitable placing again sooner rather than later... at least then he will massage up the SP before hand enabling an exit. He has absolutely no idea of what shareholder value is. What I find totally bizarre is the way one or two on here still happy clap Birds trashing of their investment. Maybe they are happy to offset their massive losses against capital gains tax from their better punts or something.
I suppose this is the result of the endless over promise and under delivery here. That sprinkled with too many economies of truth and the tonking we are receiving is quite inevitable. Do we see the SP being supported by Bird now ? Of course not.... he is not frivolous with his own money... just ours.
JDAU - Did that rant make you feel better ? Spacemen also used to attack fellow holders... Perhaps some of us are asking the questions you want to ask but every time you open your mouth the sand keeps getting in. Chill.
I'm surprised there are so many pics of Omnia's alluvial plant still up since Omnia are not one of our alluvial contractors. I suppose if Bird had done a deal with a reolacement contractor then those pics will be replaced too. Are there any pics of the plant Moz left behind when they walked off with our money... the one that doesn't work ?
Yoshie... good post. I agree I think Bird does have a knack of saying what people want to hear and seems to enjoy talking to other business people and doing deals with them. Unfortunately whilst those deals are what keeps him ticking, his mind doesn't seem to be focused on his primary function. The very reason for his existence at XTR should be to put shareholders first and facilitate shareholder value. He clearly struggles with this. Whether intentionally or not XTR has become a vehicle for others to benefit from with XTR shareholders picking up the bill for Birds deals. The market recognises this and has detached XTR MktCap from any assets Bird has at his disposal as it no longer believes those assets will benefit shareholders. Your opening question of who should take the rein is the big issue now. Further non beneficial deals with Bird at the helm ? I really cant see Bird wanting any of this stop but maybe it would be in the best interests of shareholders to sell Manica. At least then shareholders could regain some of their losses.
Some chunky sells today. Perhaps the sellers have read the RNSs and listened to the media presentations and concluded that Bird is not progressing the deals needed to benefit XTR shareholders. Hard to disagree with them.
captainbob… I totally agree that is what should happen to the plant acquired by us. If it can be easily moved ond a crew is available to do this, then it begs the question can Bird actually manage to sort it ? It doesn't seem he has been able to put together anything that we all agree should happen tbh. Have Moz walked off with our 400k and left us a plant sitting idle then ?
OK a few questions... maybe CaptainBob can throw some light... How much of FB or any of the other HR deposits been exposed yet ? Are Sino working to expose our hard rock or are they processing alluvials not covering the hard rock ? We know Omnia are not working our alluvials covering our hard rock and Moz took our money and ran, so how many of the "up to 7 plants" that Bird proclaimed in the media presentation are actually being utilised on exposing our hard rock ? How many of those plants are being utilised on processing our alluvials not covering our hard rock ? Since it is clear the alluvial processing alone will not sustain XTR we need to know the answers to the questions as to how close are we to working the hard rock. We have the Moz plant.. that should be put to work on any hard rock we have exposed which returns me to my questions... have we actually shifted anything away from the hard rock access ? Still appears to me that Bird is only interested in doing deals to benefit others and getting XTR shareholders to pay for it.
jessel… the same poster who regards those who challenge some of Birds actions as morons cretins and muppets. So much is revealed about a posters character through the words they chose....
Does the rainy season start again ? Any chance of hard rock news or new alluvial contractors being announced before then ? August tomorrow already... doesn't time fly when so much news awaited.
