RE: Kelliop been operating only 2 years and have CE?27 Aug 2024 10:57
@Hang , somebody already cleared this yesterday and yet again you posting nonsense , Kelliop is the company with 1 or 2 people and they have a basic MT RNR1 test which has no comparison with Genedrive test , There is no information about Kelliop accuracy or speed , they are just doing a pilot in a children’s hospital, and GDR MT RNR1 test being used in several Hospitals across UK and Europe.
The Genedrive MT-RNR1 ID Kit is a well-regarded test for detecting the MT-RNR1 m.1555A>G gene variant, which helps prevent antibiotic-induced hearing loss in newborns. It is a rapid, point-of-care test that provides results in 26 minutes with 100% sensitivity and specificity. The test has been recommended by NICE for use in the NHS, and its implementation has shown to be effective without disrupting clinical practice. There is no information available about a "Kelliop MT RNR1 test," suggesting it may not be a recognized or comparable alternative to the Genedrive test.
