The Genomadix Cube detects *2, *3, and *17 alleles, while Genedrive detects *2, *3, *4, *8, *17, and *35.  That’s three alleles vs six. In practice this means Genedrive catches rare loss-of-function variants that Cube misses entirely.
The US population is far more diverse (South Asian, East Asian, Black, Hispanic patients have higher prevalence of rarer LOF alleles like *3 and *8), US hospitals and payers are increasingly scrutinising whether a 3-allele test is clinically adequate,
