@Rud, your post treats dilution as a certainty when it’s actually just the historical default, That changes once pilots convert to NHS contracts. Framing funding as “loan or dilute” ignores how diagnostics are actually financed post-adoption. You’re assuming no revenue, no leverage, and no alternatives all of which are outdated assumptions. NHS pilots exist precisely to unlock contracts and cheaper capital. If dilution were inevitable now, pilots would be pointless. The MT-RNR1 test and CYP2C19 test is no longer a science projects, it is in real NHS pilots, addressing a clear patient-safety mandate. That materially changes the funding conversation.

Stocksaint , no offence but I wouldn’t comment or ridicule something that I don’t know , so called MT RnR1 competitor- Credo VitaSIRO has just a FLYER , nothing else .. they are preparing for clinical trials , no regulatory approval in any country , if they make it they are good 5 years behind Genedrive :-) .

CYP2c19 test , so far only 2 competitors , Genomadix and SpartanDX , GDR test is much superior with broad coverage than other 2 and no cold chain or no blood draw , seamlessly integrated with EHR and most importantly NHS backing .

If you ask me to chose which test then I would chose Genedrive which has - CE-IVD and NICE Early Value Assessment FDA Breakthrough designation . Simples .

Bighammer , I believe all the trusts who deal with stroke or CVD will buy the POC machines for a backup/emergency , use POC when needed for speed, convenience, cases where lab testing isn’t feasible but prefer lab testing when infrastructure and capacity exist, the latest guidance clearly mentioned the Genedrive POC kit as the alternative. If I am a project manager I wouldn’t plan something without plan B.

I will tell you why Genedrive is very happy to be on NICE or NHS guidance , GDR may use this as a ladder to climb on other international markets where NHS is highly regarded.
