A highlight was the presentation by William Newman, in which he emphasized the recommendation for pharmacogenetic testing of MT-RNR1 prior to the use of aminoglycosides in individuals of all ages.

This is where Genedrive test coming useful , quick analysis and discharge the patient , hopefully this will be routine practice soon .

💡#Clopidogrel_resistance was assessed intraoperatively using the #Genedrive device (B-Value Group, genedrive). The patient was not resistant and was discharged the following day on ASA plus clopidogrel.

Pharmacogenomics is the study of an individual's genetic response to medications. Being

able to identify the effects of a certain medication, based on an individual's genetics,

before prescribing it could reduce side effects. Side effects account for one in 16 hospital

admissions and have been estimated to cost the NHS £2.2 billion annually154F

The plan describes the intended aims of new global institutes, to establish the UK as a

world leader in health research and translation. Regional health innovation zones are

intended to use radical experimentation to improve the use of such innovation in the NHS.

The zones will be cost neutral if funded through existing devolved budgets, transformation

funds and improvement and digital budgets. Where successful approaches are found,

sharing this practice nationwide could result in improved health outcomes and wider

economic benefits, derived from using innovation more effectively in healthcare.

@Rud, Understood, and I agree this is simply an exchange of views.I’m not disputing the cash burn or the arithmetic around funding are valid concerns and have been for some time. Where I differ is that I don’t view the situation as unchanged. The company is now in active NHS pilots and closer to real-world evaluation than in previous years, which is a relevant shift even if it hasn’t yet translated into revenue.I’m not assuming imminent NHS funding or FDA approval, and I accept that loans require repayment and dilution remains a risk. My view is simply that the next phase is about whether pilots convert into any form of adoption or commissioning signal. If they don’t, then the funding concerns you outline remain dominant.

At this stage, I see the outcome as contingent on those near-term developments rather than settled either way. Good luck to you if you are still invested, by the way I am here with more than 15 million shares and I have done my research.
