@Jimi , Most of them pilot studies and finding a solution to fit these tests in NHS clinical pathways , The overwhelming evidence from CYP2C19 studies are very assuring for scientific research community and I am more confident than ever that this will be very successful commercial test for GDR.

There is a huge shift in government policies , early detection and faster diagnosis is the new model , RNR1 kit will be adopted sooner than we thought .

@john , 2 pilots going on , @salford bedside PoC and rest of the sites lab , i have a gut feeling that we will hear good news on RNR1 front , it will be rolled across all NHS trusts eventually .

Bedside CYP2C19 testing for stroke patients at Salford Royal Hospital

Following a successful six-month assessment of the point of care test at Manchester Royal Infirmary and the Manchester Centre for Genomic Medicine, Saint Mary's Hospital a pilot of bedside CYP2C19 testing will be rolling out to Greater Manchester's Hyper Acute Stroke Unit (HASU) at Salford Royal Hospital. This allows patients to be tested quickly for variations in CYP2C19 using only a cheek swab which allows decisions about treatment to be made more quickly than was previously possible using standard laboratory-based testing.

This work is being undertaken as part of a pilot of genetic testing in stroke services led by the NHS

Pharmacogenomics and Medicines Optimisation Network of Excellence. At other sites including St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, and Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital we will consider the use of laboratory based CYP2C19 testing.

The pilot will run from October 2024 to April 2025 and will produce an implementation guide for providers and information to support future commissioning decisions.

NICE will notify stakeholders when supporting information on implementation is available, as highlighted on their website. To further enable future implementation, NHS England will also be supporting a broader focus on relevant tools and resources, informed by the findings of the pilot, such as appropriate education and training.

@GG I do feel the same way, Gino should have issued some sort of forward looking statement or assurance to the share holders since his appointment. At the same time I do feel something going on behind the doors , They are unusually quite .

We have basically 2 assessments in progress and both are expected on 31st October 2024.

Thank you RB , I personally know a friend who’s affected with the antibiotics, he is permanently deaf , he was emotional when I told him about this test . 2 babies saved in one hospital in 9 months is big win for the children and their loved ones .
