When you say leftovers do you mean your RI shares or have you sold the lot? Been out all day (thank God). Just had a quick look but cant see any news on LRD! Not so sure the update will be tomorrow as the date differs depending on what site you go on.......Soon tho. My view on the update is that it will be fairly similar to the NCC one........Hopefully, or even better ; )) If your right about a PM sale I don't think they would say anything in the update unless it was more or less a done deal, surely if there was "anyone" doing any DD they would have had to make a separate announcement. You youngsters eh........its a poke in the eye not nose

GoldAnOil, agree. Nothing earth shattering but at least no more bad stuff (which IMO they would have mentioned if there was) drop was way overdone clearly on the basis that another PW would follow. Will be good to see some short positions closing now : ))

Nthoftheriver, last year they had a trading update on 28th of April so its more than likely they will have one around the same time this year and probably (IMO) mention the SR at the same time. Maybe Peel Hunt have already had a glimpse of something.........Hence the hike in forecast to £2.45

Volumes don't add up atm as there has been very little volume at all this week, those 2 large trades could have been some kind of swap? We may see some delayed trades after the close

A_E_, tried to reply earlier but the gremlins in my router had their own agenda. My pub quip was based entirely on experience as my son runs one and I have met some very clued up folk who know basically everything! (well almost). Sounds like you met a young man starting out on a path that you have frequently traveled and I think you will have give him some very good advice to help him on his voyage..........If only you could put an old head on young shoulders as my dad used to say! Grumps........the late reported trades showing as sells looks like a decoy to me! Wondering what will happen if/when the new "lenders" get their hands on S&G.......Lots of talk on Hotcopper about them selling off the loss making UK business!! Is there an escrow swap on the cards I wonder? The BoD have been very quiet and so they should be IMO until they know anything for certain.

Thanks Nthoftheriver, just looked at the RNS on another site, dont know whats going on with announcements on here lately? Yeah good to see Legal & General increase holding. Maybe after that large buy yesterday we may get another notification later today or early next week
