Yeah I need to have a look at the RI timetable again, as you say its trying to keep up with everything when your busy. One little tip I picked up from another poster recently is the Quick Picks list here on LSE. I find it very useful. If you go to the top next to where it says Laird Share Chat you will see a red pin icon,(also in the same place on other boards for other shares) when you click on it you can create a list that appears every time you login showing you price movements. The clever thing is if you then click on the Quick Picks Overview at the bottom of your list it gives you more information about the shares your list, such as charts, any news or announcements that have been logged, how many posters have posted that day, trades. If you just click on the box your interested in ie: say trades for instance it takes you straight there without having to faff around. You may already know about it but just thought I would mention it as I have been on here years and never noticed it until someone else told me. Has saved me a lot of time. No point in clicking on the Live Prices bit tho unless you want to pay extra. I was in RTO a few years back, been meaning to have another look so thanks for reminding me and GL

No probs fella, if you click on the news icon its in there although I missed it earlier. Sometimes its hard to find any obvious news without having to register on other sites and I cant be bothered with all that malarkey as more often than not they just want your details so they can send you a load of guff. I think what GoldAnOil posted is a very good point.

Pantman42, Re: Closing page all red..........Look at the dates and times of the trades, many were from earlier today and yesterday and some were deletions (whatever they are). I think this site just marks them as buys or sells according to when the trades are logged. As Ratknapp says its not your fault, we were all shocked at the timing of the rns and the (IMO manipulated) reaction. I think Brian Tenner (the new CFD) has the experience to turn things around, very lucrative business.......Just needs someone at the helm who can manage it.

Opium, Rob Cotton has probably been doing far too much head ducking with all his cycle racing all over the place lately. Its nice to see he has a hobby during work hours (probably all expenses paid) but after spending so much shareholder money on acquisitions you would have thought he would channel his energy more into the transition of his new purchases. Must be great getting paid a nice big fat salary to travel the world and live out your own dreams at the same time! ON YA BIKE COTTON

Something just does not add up.........Why give an update 4 mins before the market closed??? GoldAnoil I just happened to be looking at something else and noticed a 9% drop. Yeah shock horror, by the time I faffed about and read the rns it was down 28%. Will need to read it again to understand exactly why. Call it gut feeling but I think there is an offer of some sort on the table, just need us mugs to accept it

Perhaps peeps initially thought that all this news around the uk gov being involved with cyber security would be bad for NCC taking business away from them..........IMO far from it, fhe way I see it there is a lot more to be gained.

The new National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) will be opened by the Queen today. The guy in the live interview Paul Vlissids is from NCC and by the sound of it they will be very much involved. There was an article in yesterdays Telegraph about it which also mentioned rumours of a possible take over of the whole company. off course "their sources" were not named. I did wonder the same as you about the intended RI if there was any truth in that story. Also noticed this from the Laird website, looks like they are expanding facilities in Michigan! Thanks for posting, that was very interesting and as you say could be very good for NCC. Must have cost a lot of money to close all those NHS places down for 4 days yet they say installing the black boxes (as advised) is too expensive!
