Cyber security firm NCC Group has launched a new office in Singapore. The new base aims to help businesses in South East Asia protect their brand, value and reputation against the ever-evolving threat landscape. NCC Group CEO Rob Cotton said the pace of innovation in the region is accelerating at an astounding rate. “This is why it was crucial for us to open an office in this region,” he added. “With customers now in ten countries across Asia Pacific, this will enable us to better service our customers throughout Singapore and the wider South East Asia region helping to revolutionise the way these organisations think about cyber security and risk mitigation.” Manchester-headquartered NCC Group will also be expanding its presence in Australia due to growing demand for cyber security services in the APAC region. The firm has outgrown its current base in Sydney and will be moving into larger premises over the coming weeks. It also plans to open an office in Melbourne later this year. Imo the appointment of Carman Chua is a strategic move which they seem very positive about in the rns Makes me wonder with the timing of her joining (feb) and the rights issue on a "standby basis" if there is something else happening in the background? Confused as to why they would need to extend the covenants as well, unless they felt the RI might not be fully taken up. GL guys I guess we will know more next Tuesday!

Didn't realise they had dropped so low on the index as I had looked at what now appears to be data from last month, note to self double check dates! Hopefully more smaller cap funds will now be eligible to buy in that couldn't previously. Will be interesting to see what happens before the effective date and leading up to the next reshuffle.

Done a bit of research on them and really like what I have seen, very reputable long established comp with the intention of holding long. They only invest in well managed comps with growth potential and exclude many on ethical grounds. Have a look at their website.

Dave, I often look at the after hour trades on shares and to be honest they baffle me even more than the normal hours trading and that's bad enough, trying to workout was it a buy or was it a sell........There should be more clarity but hey that would make things to easy for us! Atb

for now at least! TLWilliams, not sure if the US market being closed for Thanksgiving may have had an effect on the ftse the past couple of days, from my experience it usually does. With regards to the autumn statement and Laird I think they should do well from the increased funding on infrastructure especially as a lot of new builds both in the private and commercial sector will be designed to incorporate a lot of the technology that they are very good at. They also have a major presence outside of the UK. Don't think it will be long before we get some news on those delayed/new contracts. GL with your other ones and hope things have picked up a bit today, mine have : ))
