Well, if was capitalised at £2.3m at the placing price it closed at some 10% below that, ie not much more than £2m. None of the placees have been able to sell at a profit today & PI's can buy in cheaper. And they have £500K extra cash. There will be a lot of disillusionment with the BOD but the maths don't lie. The nervous will bail out but the brave will hold on.

OK - so a placing at .037p & despite the disappointment they are now .039 to buy so we should now assess this in the cold light of day. They now have cash to assess their oil & gas interests in Madagascar etc which, let's face it, they have acquired for a song. So OK Hamish - now prove your worth! Certainly seems worth taking a small position & holding.

For all of the fine words - "He was a very popular boy at school & all his friends and the staff will miss him greatly", the CEO has been dumped. What next? - we shall see.

& you can pretty much guarantee that all of those placee shares at .037p will be dumped back on the market if PI's now push the shares higher. After all a price of .055p represents a 50% short term profit to them. Lovely Jubbly !!

Don't you just love this Hamish guy. Placing at 3.7p & he thanks all us PI's [Mugs?] for driving the price higher & so avoiding the need for greater dilution. Greater love hath no man than this - to lay down his friends for his life !!

Three large trades this morning totalling 42.5 million shares but delayed so could be from yesterday. They seem like buys so would expect a holding announcement very soon. Is this recent stake building a preface to a takeover approach? The recent share price graph is interesting.

It is the debt that has provided the opportunity for Gunsynd.

A simple factual statement of Gunsynd's position re Oyster. Assuming voted through they end up with 30% of the Djbouti & Madagascar oil prospects & presumably, and not to be discounted, retain their 5.29% in the parent company, to be renamed ZTR acquisitions. It is the oil & gas that provide the current excitement & what is 30% of a major frontier resource worth? Well, Gun's MV as of yesterday's close was £2.5m - strip out all other interests & that probably means the market assigns a MV of only some £1m - £1.25m to Oyster. IE: Peanuts. I am guessing a current NPV of these is £3 - £5m - particularly within a London listed vehicle. Enough to double the share price from here & possibly more.

Go back to last August and this stock was happily trading at 0.04p. Now it is at a modest premium even though there has been a fundamental change in prospects with the Oyster deal [assuming it is voted through]. In addition Human Brands appears to be on a strong upwards business trajectory and is reportedly seeking a LSE Main Market listing & in which case Gunsynd's stake should show a significant increase in value. So, as of today investors simply need to ask themselves whether Gunsynd's collection of assets are worth more or less than the current Market Cap of £2.5m. I would say that at the current level there is risk of maybe 30% loss but potential reward of several multiples of the current price. The fainthearted will bail out and no shame in that while the bravehearted will grit their teeth and stay put.

Just a little extra positive. United Oil & Gas have today announced the award of what appear to be 4 excellent blocks in the latest UK licensing round. Expect UOG shares to trade higher today and provide another small boost to Gunsynds net asset position.

Been reading your posts - they sure go direct to the point. What is more i am with you all [well, at least most] of the way. The old [of which i am one] have monopolised much of the economic wealth of this country and object to anything that they see as threatening their entrenched position. Politically their views are set in stone - hence we are now on the verge of becoming the lickspittle of America.

A further thought on Oyster Oil & Gas. Apart from the stake in Subco holding the Djbouti & Madagascar oil interests will Gunsynd's existing 5.29% interest in Oyster give it an ongoing stake in the newly named ZTR Acquisitions? There are more strands to the Gunsynd story than investors realise.

Well said Love_You [which i don't but you know what i mean!]. Drive around this country of ours and we are saying NO to pretty much everything. Houses - roads - rail - factories - gravel extraction - oil and gas drilling : NO-NO-No etc. If we are to get anywhere at all in the supposed post-Brexit utopia it is about time we started saying YES.

Well, it has taken effectively a debt for equity swap, but essentially this is the London quote that Oyster has been seeking. Big challenges in working in Madagascar of course but the potential rewards are enormous. Shallow drilling - light oil - coastal access - huge [billions of barrels] potential resource. Whilst potential is exactly that, ie it doesn't come with guarantees and, even though if proved up a larger partner will have to be brought in [providing credibility in the process] the rewards could be enormous. So, what is the risk - 0.04 of 1 penny - what are the rewards. Who knows, but clearly many times that.

A basket full of positives in today's RNS. Vermelho PFS due early Q2 - potential for fast-tracking - cobalt is high quality icing on the nickel cake. But first we have Araguaia financing to complete. The good news are that bank discussions are well advanced & offtake agreements are in the pipeline. The good background news is the continuing reduction in global nickel stocks. The canary in the mine, of course, remains the financing in that we await details of any capital raise & in a Trumpian world financiers are nervous. Get that out of the way though and a very positive investment case should emerge.

Another encouraging announcement today. Is Applied Graphene now starting to deliver on all of it's undoubted promise? Clearly there is something of a stock overhang which is slowly being whittled away. Potential for significant gains over time i feel.

In part this is the new CEO getting all of the bad news out of the way. It is highly unlikely that Kier is going bust & going forward into our new glorious [Ha Ha!] post-Brexit future the obvious and time honoured way to prop up the economy is infrastructure spending. So the stock is quite probably ludicrously cheap - exactly where you want it if you are the new broom CEO about to be awarded a shed load of options. No doubt it will stay cheap for a while but for anybody with guts & patience this could well be a multibagger.

That's fine mate. But just be aware that parroting the same opinion ad infinitum means that is carries less weight each time because people then doubt your motives.
