I would only say that there would be little point in directors exchanging loan capital [ranking ahead of ordinary shares in any winding-up] at 3 pence [a premium] unless they were fairly confident of making more than 3p via the equity. So i take this as a positive. Mistakes and missteps may well have been made in the past but we are in the here and now and i believe that there is every chance of making money at the current price.

So, a placing, in which the director's are participating - at a near 40% discount to yesterday's close & a thumping discount to NAV. So why do they require warrants as well? Ordinary PI's effectively ripped-off.

It would be interesting to have views of how much PMO's 25% interest in Zama is worth in the event that they decided, either now or in the future, to monetise it? Clearly the drilling campaign is still ongoing but i suspect that it's value is considerable & would put market worries about debt in context.

The short-term thing that can, and needs to change here is a restoration of the culture of the brand. You wear Superdry OK so you are a little bit different, a little bit special. It's a brand but you are not a brand-junkie or a clone but still an individual. You are past your teens but not yet in your dotage [physically or mentally] & still a little bit hip with the mindset that goes with it. This is part "know your customer" & part subtle change of direction. JD knows the brand, after all he created it & is well placed to oversea the resurrection. The potential upside, on a 3-4 year timescale is significant.

What i wonder about Arsenal is your agenda here. You are a prolific poster on Minoan even though you feel the company will fail with no value to shareholders & presumably therefore you do not hold any shares. So perhaps you could just say what your agenda actually is. Without wishing to appear sarcastic do you feel your role is to be some sort of Guardian Angel appointed to save ordinary mortals from the folly of their actions? You may well have a particular insight into this company and accordingly your views may be valid. I would only say that the company has not felt the need at latest year end to write down it's property asset cost. Also a landholding comprising 6000 plots and 28km of coastline cannot reasonably be said to represent "very little assets". Of course there have been delays and missteps along the way & delays beyond the direct control of the board but this is par for the course with such a venture. Do the board pay themselves at a level holders may consider excessive? Possibly so & this is a matter for individual judgement. However i do feel that all is not lost here.

JD is the very body & soul of the company. More so i think he now understands more fully what his personal strengths & weaknesses are. He is the brand & is very qualified to point it in the right direction & be it's global ambassador while having a CEO & FD who he trusts and can work alongside him. More so no-one can deny that he doesn't have skin in the game. It will take some time to turn the ship but once this starts to happen we should see a re-rating from these levels & hopefully a long term growth story re-emerging.

No valedictory comment from Claire Hungate so seems this change is not entirely amicable. Nonetheless Kate Burns appears to be extremely well qualified to build on Claire's well laid foundations.

Well, trellis35, i must be pretty dim because i cannot understand quite what you are getting at. For a start Lignumvitae means "tree of life" - i wasn't aware it had any connection with profit or loss. Secondly the post was intended to be a light hearted but pointed comment on how private investors are nearly always at the end of the queue and, to far too many companies are viewed as mere cannon fodder.

How nice it must be - to be a placee - To rip off your brother - your Granny, your Mother - And any old chap -some poor simple sap - who buys in the market - well oh what a lark it - is if you're on the board - where you act like a Lord - and grant yourself options - and similar confloptions. - It's a bit like the army - in days now long gone - when foot soldiers got shot - but the generals did not.

Please correct me if i am wrong but i do not think that RRE have walked away & i would expect an announcement from them very soon. I have little doubt that they will be talking further with Smith & Williamson as administrators of LOG. They will also surely be plotting as to how the EGM vote fails. Whether this involves now assembling a stake remains to be seen. If this was intended by IOG to be a poison pill it may well have the opposite effect. 20p must now seem attractive to many holders and also S&W. Even more so if RRE include a share alternative.

Was about to make my early morning cuppa but it is not only the kettle that is boiling. "Exceptional value" in our portfolio according to the CEO!! Presumably this is why the placing is at a 50% discount to RR's offer which was dismissed as derisory by IOG & a massive 70% discount to the 12 month high. Unbelievable. This fundraise has to be approved at a general meeting. Time i think to deny that approval & signal to RR to launch a formal offer. If RR have any sense they will be buying in the market this morning.

These are solid results but what i welcome most is the comprehensive explanation of both the challenges & opportunities facing BB and the detailed exposure of how Claire Hungate proposes BB will exploit the opportunities available. She clearly has a deep understanding of the markets in which BB operates and the adroitness necessary to take full advantage. Very impressive. I feel this is a lockaway.

RR's announcement today simple reveals how much they want IOG. They may well succeed but will have to pay rather more than 20p.

Just as in Flybe & Interserve the ordinary shareholders are being sidelined.

Seems like DNL has slipped off the radar again. With a cap of some £18m & decent cash in the bank today's announcement should be the catalyst for sustained price momentum. Certainly it seems there is a good chance for Alkindi, the adrenal insuffiency treatment to achieve FDA approval. One to tuck away i suspect.

Read Jay Cheatham's comment in today's announcement. Seems that there may well be considerable potential for Red's acreage.

Just to say that the MC shown by Google / HL / LSE of some 950K appears to be incorrect. Extrapolating from the Holding in company RNS today there appear to be 406m shares in issue = MC some £2.5m @ .62. Other contributors please correct me if my understanding is wrong.
