Oke I'm.not sure 14 times ebit does it. That's uk retail sector FTSEE average which is dull of basket case businesses going nowhere or declining

I think a subset of peers would be far more insightfull and would be an order of magnitude higher on the multiple

The recent nestle deal on a 5 x multiple for a busininess way off market leader translates to 8 times higher than THG currently on revenue multiplier

I keep trying to get time to do peer comparisons of revenue and EBIT mulipliers but haven't had time. They seem to range from max 30 times more to min 6 times more

Patience all that is needed

The brokers work for the same banks. The FCA have considered but never implemented regs creating independence between the 3. Its corrupt as hell and seven nobody nor the UK but the city fat cat hedge hunds. Its shirt term greed and has destroyed the city IPO market

The factors driving this massive reversal which has only just started ate

1. A quatar fund of intergalactic bottomless pockets gone long with a massive investment who will totally crush and destroy any shirts playing aaganst them
2. Massive insider director buys
3. Strong q3 results showing business in great shape
4. Sector starting to come back in favour
5. Huge THG discount to peers between 30 and thirty times
6. Highly likey bid to go private in next quarter
7. Current market condition favourable to THG

Nobody knows where this will end up but 250p mentioned (low side) however it could quite easily 10 bag given how massive the short attack was and hiw muchorders of magnitude THG are behind peers

It is a very unique opportunity now with very very little downside risk vs upside reward

Minor short volumes are just betting on a drop but large short volumes say 10% create large sales and force a drop. This is called a short attack. To make even more money they create false bad news in concert with media so thae longs also sell to create more selling volume and there is no long buying volume to counter effect the shirt volume. This misinfirnation completes the attack and makes shorters a mint. Moulding himself didn't help and he was silly in his handling of the media to enable them to paint him as totally incompetent on silly side issues despite his incredible business build skills

THG was great for shirting from 600p for 3 reasons. The hype was easy to bustnpost IPO in the media with planned media campaign im collusion eith the shorters. secondly as most shares are owned and locked away by the IIs the free float sharestrades can create big distortions in the sales price. Hence the huge drop to 32p and the rapid rise we see now and will continue to see as the shorts exit. Thirdly the sector itself went onto risk of mode meanimg the smart.money somd and went in energy stocks etc and left adding to the sale volume

It was a kervet storm and a co ordinated attack exploiting the situation. If the FCA wanted to do their job and protect the integrity of the city they should investigate the collusion with Mr shag from the rimes who spun everyone in bad light even Quatar coming on board and shirters he was in bed with collectively making millions from mainly the normal man in the street private investor. It is a crime what what happened against PIs in the IPzo but also wrecked the city frlor alone else planning an IPO ( think ARM no chance now ) and gas shown the times to be cirruot and not worth iits monet

To close a short you eiter buy and that's it or you repeat ie buy to complete which you must do but then resell.again to keep.it going and going have to actually buy the shares to complete the transaction
.the problem and risk is if all the shorts open and being rolled need to cloysebthry all.have to buy to complete the transaction creating a big buy volume. Exactly where we are now
