An attention tracking system in the front seat, including infrared emitters and a camera on the steering wheel, monitors eye gaze and head position, so you can take your hands off the wheel. All monitoring is only used in the moment and no biometric data is stored or saved. Even if you're wearing sunglasses, the system knows if you're texting or looking through your music playlist.

Probably most of the top 20. QC are so far above everyone else in Comms they will have an in to the integration into ADAS and IVI. Sell the package which will include SEE.

We had always talked about GM losing the initiative of having real DMS first. However with 22 models coming out by 2023 with SC available seems to show they mean business.
And with 85% people wanting SC in their next car, GM will be a decent contract for SEE.

Where's the updated RNS ???

I do expect that SEE will be talking to aircraft manufacturers at this stage.

Also I remember a video where SEE staff where at a meeting with Boeing discussing human factors and pilot monitoring. Probably 4 or 5 years ago.

There is so much going on that we are unaware of.

Paul did say 30+ models in the next 2 years - so if GM account for 22 we could easily exceed that amount.

According to this SuperCruise will be in 22 models by 2023 !

To meet these commitments, we will offer EVs across all our brands and span the global EV market from the low-cost Wuling Hong Guang Mini to the hand-crafted Cadillac CELESTIQ. Our next EV launch is the Chevrolet Bolt EUV, which will be the first vehicle outside of Cadillac to offer Super Cruise, the world's first true hands-free driver-assist system for the freeway. It goes on sale this summer.

Later this year, the Ultium-powered GMC HUMMER EV will launch from our transformed Factory ZERO plant in Detroit and Hamtramck; and production is slated to begin on the Brightdrop EV600 commercial van.

(Reuters) - Toyota Motor Corp said on Wednesday it has an up to four-month stockpile of chips and was not immediately expecting a global chip shortage to hit production, as it jacked up its full-year earnings forecast by a bigger-than-expected 54%.

Wouldn't surprise me if Renesas are one of the chip companies talking to SEE about a license deal. Qualcomm no doubt caught them all out and they have to catch up.
